PT. Telkom Indonesia merupakan salah satu penyelenggara layanan telepon dan internet di Indonesia. Masih terdapat banyak sekolah yang belum memiliki fasilitas internet, sehingga PT. Telkom melakukan edukasi dan penawaran fasillitas ini. PT. Telkom di Bogor yaitu divisi BGES (Business, Government, Enterprise) merupakan divisi yang menawarkan layanan ini. Banyaknya jumlah sekolah yang belum memiliki fasilitas internet di Bogor serta luasnya area layanan, mendorong penelitian mengenai beban kerja mental karyawan di divisi ini. Penilaian beban kerja dilakukan pada 12 karyawan di bagian Account  Manager (AM) Government, AM Pro, dan AM organik menggunakan metoda NASA-TLX. Hasilnya adalah beban kerja pada ketiga bagian AM tersebut dikategorikan tinggi. Dari lima dimensi beban kerja mental, hanya Physical Demand (PD) yang dikategorikan sedang, sisanya yaitu Mental Demand (MD), Temporal Demand (TD), Performance (P), Frustration level (FR) dikategorikan tinggi. Penambahan karyawan, pengaturan jadwal visit ke konsumen, dan keluar kota dapat dilakukan untuk menyeimbangkan beban kerja yang dirasakan karyawan saat ini.

PT. IPC TPK Area Palembang merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang penyediaan fasilitas terminal petikemas untuk perdagangan baik domestik maupun internasional. Tugas Operator RMGC (Rail Mounted Gantry Crane) yaitu membongkar dan memuat peti kemas. Aktivitas tersebut membutuhkan aspek Fisik dan juga Mental. Penilitian ini bertujuan untuk Menganalisis Beban Kerja Fisik dan Mental. Beban Kerja Fisik diukur berdasarkan Cardiovascular Load (CVL). Beban Kerja Mental dengan menggunakan metode NASA-TLX. Berdasarkan hasil analisis CVL, dari ke 16 operator ada 5 orang operator memiliki nilai presentase CVL >30%, nilai tertinggi dari presentase CVL adalah sebesar 36,04% yang mengindikasikan bahwa telah terjadi kelelahan kerja yang dialami oleh operator sedangkan jika dilihat dari perhitungan menggunakan metode NASA-TLX bahwa 9 orang (56,25%) operator memiliki beban kerja mental yang sangat tinggi dengan aspek yang paling mempengaruhi besaran beban kerja mental yaitu aspek Performansi Kerja (Performance) sebesar 26,95%. Sedangkan untuk nilai maksimal dari skor akhir Nasa-TLX sebesar 99,33 dan nilai minimal skor NASA TLX sebesar 46,66. Nilai batas yang dihitung yaitu BKA sebesar 110,69 dan BKB sebesar 43,90.

Transesterification of oil with alcohol produces glycerol and methyl esters (biodiesel). The reaction is influenced, among others, by the amount of catalyst and the ratio of oil and meth hanol reagents. This purpose of research to determine the effect of the amount of catalyst and the ratio of reagents on the conversion of glycerol. The experiment was carried out in a three-necked flask equipped with a stirrer and reverse cooling. In a three-necked flask, 150 ml of castor oil was added, 0.375 ml of H2SO4 was added, heated to a temperature of 650C. Then add 185 ml of methanol and stir for 30 minutes. Then let stand 24 hours to form two layers. The bottom layer is glycerol. The transesterification process was continued by adding 100 ml of glycerol in a mixture of methanol (variation 1:2, 1:3, 1:4) with RCC catalyst (variation 1.7gr;1.9gr;2.1gr;2.3gr ;2.5gr) The mixture was then stirred at 90 rpm for 75 minutes. Based on the results of research conducted, the highest glycerol conversion value was in the amount of catalyst 2.1 g with a ratio of reagents between castor oil and methanol of 1:3 of 55.33%.

Abstract   Fire is a phenomenon that occurs when a material reaches a critical temperature and reacts chemically with oxygen (for example) producing heat, flame, light, smoke, water vapor, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, or other products and effects. Fires can occur anywhere, be it in office buildings, residences or public facilities. As for other than in public areas, fires often occur, both in rooms and laboratories, the triggers are almost the same due to negligence and not being careful in using flammable tools. For this reason, the need for a fire detector with a detector system using an alarm so that once a fire occurs, all those in the building can find out through the detector with an alarm sound as a fire marker. In order to reduce casualties, the need for a sprinkler system to extinguish the fire, and can assist the officers or authorities in the building as soon as possible. From the above problems, this research will determine how many detectors and sprinklers are needed, as well as how much water volume, pump power, and ground water tank are needed. This type of research is quantitative research by direct observation of the object under study, then researchers measure the room one by one using a building meter. From the calculation results by taking a sample on the 1st floor, the number of detectors needed is 10 smoke detectors and 3 heat detectors, the number of sprinklers is 47, the volume of water needed is 846 m3, the pump power and ground water tank needed are hydraulic power. pump (HHP) 3,28621 kW, pump shaft power (BHP) 4.38 kW, pump electric power (P) 6 kW, diesel pump (PpD) 4 HP, jocky pump (PJk) 0.6 kW, capacity GWT ( QGWT) 44 m3.

Industrial waste can cause environmental pollution, one of which is solid metal waste.  Lead is a dangerous and toxic heavy metal that can cause damage to the surrounding environment. Liquid waste containing mercury in industry contains a mixture of chemical compounds that other This causes the pH of the solution in the waste to vary. Lead metal waste needs to be treated with method one of which is the absorption of waste using an adsorbent. To enlarge the pores, the adsorbent will be activated using a 2 M KOH solution with the selected adsorbent, namely the sewage sludge of PDAM Tirta Musi Palembang which contains PAC (Poly Aluminum Chloride) which can help optimize absorption. The level of metal degradation was analyzed using AAS with absorption parameters obtained 4 with an absorption capacity of 23 ,22 mg/g.

Perumpung (Eulalia japonica) is a wild plant that usually grows on the banks of river. The locals consider this plant as a waste/pest, but the authors are interested in researching perumpung because they are similar to bamboo, sugarcane and other fibrous plants. In this study, the authors aims to compare the compressive strength of normal concrete with the compressive strength of concrete added with Perumpung ash at 28-days-old K-300. The study used a cube-shaped test object (15 x 15 x 15 cm) with 6 samples for each condition. The total number of test objects is 48, which consists of 8 conditions, namely normal conditions and 5%, 7.5%, 10%, 12.5%, 15%, 17.5% and 20% addition of perumpung ash by cement weight. The results obtained that the compressive strength of 28-days-old concrete under normal conditions was 316,060 kg/cm2 and the addition of 5% ash was 331.583 kg/cm2, 7.5% was 337.181 kg/cm2, 10% was 341.813 kg/cm2, 12 ,5% is 347,045 kg/cm2, 15% is 353,889 kg/cm2, 17.5% is 311,160 kg/cm2 and 20% is 298.44 kg/cm2. From the results above it can be concluded that the addition of 15% Perumpung Ash to the concrete mixture increases the maximum characteristic concrete compressive strength by 353.889 kg/cm2.

UKM Kerupuk Acoy is a small and medium business engaged in the production of kerupuk and kemplang which has been established since 2012. After conducting interviews it was found that there were internal problems caused by a decrease in productivity, namely the use of resources that were not yet efficient so that although there was an increase in sales but the benefits are not maximized. To overcome this, it is necessary to apply the APC method to see which inputs have an index below 100% so that improvements are needed to increase productivity. The results of data processing showed a decrease in productivity levels material, energy, and capital inputs. Using fishbone diagram analysis, the root cause of the problem was found, namely low material productivity due to waste of raw materials for flour and cooking oil as well as too dense kerupuk dough form and making kemplang dough rolls too large, low energy productivity due to gas waste due to infrequent cleaning of stove fires, and low productivity. capital because the amount of working capital used is not proportional to the output produced. The solutions to increase productivity that have been implemented are cleaning the stove fire after use, reducing working capital, reducing the size of the cracker print and the diameter of the kemplang rolls, and paying attention to the use of flour and cooking oil so as not to spill on the floor. After implementation, there was an increase in the productivity of material, energy, and capital inputs respectively by 6.28252%; 6.28278%; and 0.05713% which causes an increase in output productivity of 6.283%.

Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) of Areta Agung is a brick-and-mortar SME in the city of Palembang. The purpose is to increase the productivity of brick sales. The results based on sales data Market Share as much as 24%. Before improving the strategy formulate external and internal factors. Externally using benchmarking data, namely the comparison of similar SME factors and internal results from brainstorming, namely data obtained from the results of SME of Areta Agung. In this study SWOT analysis is used to find out the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats faced by SME. After that, the SWOT matrix generates an improvement strategy, which is then improved using the Marketing Mix (4P). Its implementation includes products, namely receiving services outside of operations. Price is the addition of price variations for shipping outside the city. Promotion, namely making online sales advertisements, sales promotions, publicity, personal selling. The place is to add a building depot subscription. The results obtained by Partial Productivity before preparation were 0.565.

This research discusses the use of alumunium powder in the manufacture of geopolymer mortar made from fly ash and palm ash, with the aim of knowing the optimal amount of alumunium powder mixture against the compressive strength of geopolymer mortar. The research method used experimental methods in the laboratory, to examine the compressive strength of different geopolymer mortar tests used in the form of cubes measuring 5 x 5 x 5 cm with a mixture composition of NaOH: Na2SiO3 = 1: 2.5, Activator: Precursor = 1: 1, Fine Aggregate: Precursor = 1.5: 1 Concentration of NaOH = 12 M for the ratio of fly ash use: palm ash = 75: 25% using alumunium powder as much as 0, 0.5, 0.75 and 1%. Mortar strength testing was carried out after 3, 7, 14, 21 and 28 days of maintenance The compressive strength results obtained in each composition of the geopolymer mortar mixture are for geopolymer mortar without a mixture of alumunium powder as large as Mpa, for geopolymer mortar with a mixture of alumunium powder as much as 0.5%, 0.75% and 1% have a compressive strength of 20.9 Mpa, 15.2 Mpa, 12.7 Mpa Dan 9,7 Mpa

Utilization of an induction motor as a driving force for an oil drying machine because of its strong construction and easy maintenance. The dryer is designed to use a tube made of aluminum with an iron frame equipped with a dimmer as a voltage regulator and a timer for setting the drying time. The engine performance test was carried out with a voltage variation of 80-100 Volts with a time of 30-240 seconds with a constant load weight. Based on the research, the performance of the dryer was obtained, at a voltage of 90-100 Volts, the engine speed was stable at 2500 rpm in a drying time of 90-120 seconds. The decrease in load in the drying process can increase the rotation of the motor, otherwise the motor torque will be smaller with the increase in motor rotation and the length of the drying process.
