The fluctuation-dissipative theorem and frequency moments for quadratic functions of the reaction of a dense plasma in a constant magnetic field to an electromagnetic field are considered. The frequency moments of the corresponding correlation functions are studied. A model approach is proposed to calculate quadratic reaction functions that determine nonlinear phenomena caused by the quadratic interaction of electromagnetic waves in a dense charged medium (Coulomb systems, plasma) in a constant magnetic field. Keywords: dense plasma, nonlinear fluctuation-dissipative theorem, quadratic reaction functions, nonlinear phenomena.

The problems of constructing a multiphase model of the phase field for the processes of phase transitions of the first kind are considered. Based on the Gibbs energy of the complete system expressed in terms of antisymmetrized combinations of phase fields, it is shown that the equations of dissipative dynamics of a locally nonequilibrium system follow from the condition of its monotonic decrease, preserving the normalization of the sum of variables by one and the following properties of the previously known two-phase model.

The paper presents the simulation of a complex of reserch with ultracold neutrons at the reactor PIK (Gatchina, Russia). The complex is being built on the basis of a high-intensity source of ultracold neutrons at the channel GEK-4. A Monte Carlo model has been developed, which includes a source, a neutron guide system and an experimental setup for search for the electric dipole moment of a neutron, taking into account their real location in the main hall of the reactor. Using the developed computer model the density of ultracold neutrons in the setup was obtained, which is 200 -3. It is 50 times higher than at the source at the Institut Laue-Langevin (Grenoble, France). This density will allow to achieve a sensitivity of measurements in the experiment of 1·10-27 е·cm/year.

The initial phase of a spark discharge in the gap between the pin (cathode) and a plane 1.5 mm long in atmospheric pressure air under conditions of preliminary photoionization by an auxiliary discharge was investigated by the method of shadow photography. In the absence of preionization, the discharge from the first nanoseconds after breakdown is an aggregate of a large number of micron-diameter channels. It was found that the electron concentration resulting from preionization, estimated at 108  109 cm-3, increases the degree of uniformity of the discharge channel in the near-cathode region; however, in the near-anode region, the channel remains microstructured. Within the framework of the mechanism of microstructure formation due to the instability of the ionization wave front, a criterion for the formation of a uniform discharge is obtained and an explanation of the results obtained is presented.

The paper discusses the results of the calibration of two corona neutron counters used to measure the total neutron yield from the plasma of the Globus-M2 tokamak. The calibration was carried out in the experimental hall of the Globus-M2 facility using an AmBe source. During the calibration, the source moved uniformly around the central solenoid in the equatorial plane of the vacuum chamber, and one of the detectors was gradually moved away from the tokamak along a line with a constant toroidal angle. The values of the calibration coefficient obtained depending on the distance of the detector from the tokamak axis are presented. The calibration technique made it possible to separate in the detector signal the contributions from the direct neutron flux emitted by the plasma and from the flux of neutrons scattered on the elements of the experimental hall.

The behavior in magnetic and electric fields of the Gatchina discharge, which is used mainly to create an analog of ball lightning in the laboratory in a normal atmosphere, is analyzed. Shown that in these studies it is possible to determine the sign of an uncompensated electric charge as in the active phase of the discharge, and in the forming long-lived luminous formations. Also shown that electric and magnetic fields can change the direction of movement of the forming luminous formation and even completely block its formation. The type and mechanism of existence firework ball lightning are considered, photos of which are presented in widely known monographs on the ball lightning.

It is shown that an inhomogeneous circularly polarized light wave induces components of the antiferromagnetism vector in centroantisymmetric antiferromagnets; a narrow beam of light can create a skyrmion. The analysis of the possibility of practical use of the predicted effects is carried out.

The analysis of possible current distributions when passing current through a periodically modulated long Josephson contact located in an external magnetic field is carried out. An approach based on the analysis of continuous configuration modification proceeding in the direction of Gibbs potential reduction is used for the calculation. The case when the pinning parameter is less than the critical value is considered. It is shown that at any value of the external magnetic field, there is a critical value of the transport current, when exceeded, the situation ceases to be stationary, as a result of which energy passes into radiation and heat, i.e. currents cease to be persistent. The value of the critical current is determined by the value of the magnetic field at which the vortices begin to fill the entire length of the contact. With an increase in the external magnetic field, the critical value of the current decreases.

By methods of electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis and spectroscopy of characteristic losses of electron energy, the electronic structure of barium oxide crystallites doped with other chemical elements, including scandium from scandium-containing phases, was investigated. The physical and physicochemical conditions are formulated, the fulfillment of which allows to form the electronic structure of the scandate cathode with a high level of thermionic emission: the achievement of the minimum ratio of the surface volume concentration of oxygen vacancies and the maximum distance between the top of the valence band and the Fermi level.

Thermal ionization of methenamine (C6H12N4) on the surface of the NaAux intermetallic compound has been studied. It has been established that the processes of decomposition, desorption and ionization of adsorbed compounds, thermally stimulated on the surface, proceed due to the accumulation of energy at the degrees of freedom of the adsorption complex, including the adsorbed compound and a solid, by the mechanism of monomolecular decomposition reactions. In this case, the decomposition of the adsorption complex is accompanied by the desorption of ions that are not in thermal equilibrium with the solid. The uniformity of the temperature dependences of the ion current and their distribution over two groups allowed us to conclude that ions are desorbed from the surface, which correspond to the decays of individual adsorbed molecules, as well as the decays of dimers formed on the surface. The decay of methenamine molecules during thermal ionization occurs in the same way as their decay in vacuum during electron ionization, which indicates the preservation of the bulk structure of methenamine molecules during adsorption and a significant lifetime of the excited state of compounds on NaAux.
