BACKGROUND There are limited evidence-based strategies that have been shown to increase the rate at which peer-reviewed articles are cited. In a previously reported randomized controlled trial we demonstrated that promotion of article links in an online cross-publisher distribution platform (TrendMD) persistently augments citation rates after 12 months, leading to a statistically significant, 50% increase in citations relative to control. OBJECTIVE To investigate if the citation advantage of promoted articles upholds after 36-months. METHODS Three thousand two hundred articles published in 64 peer-reviewed journals across eight subject areas were block randomized at the subject level to either the TrendMD group (n=1600) or the control group (n=1600) of the study. Articles were promoted in the TrendMD Network for 6 months. We compared the citation rates in both groups after 36 months. RESULTS At 36 months, we found the citation advantage endured; articles randomized to TrendMD showed a 28% increase in mean citations relative to control. The difference in mean citations at 36 months for articles randomized to TrendMD versus control was 10.52, 95% CI [3.79, 17.25] and was statistically significant (p=0.001). CONCLUSIONS To our knowledge, this is the first randomized controlled trial to demonstrate how a post-publication article promotion intervention can be used to persistently augment citations of peer-reviewed articles. TrendMD is an efficient digital tool for knowledge translation and dissemination to targeted audiences to facilitate uptake of research.

Abstract— This electronic document is browsing across history of Iranian minerals export to clarify the key factors which helped to achieve the success or loose the chance on the subject. Iran with great reserve of minerals which consisting of 68 types has a great potential to substitute minerals export income instead of oil. This is the same scenario that Kingdom of Saudi Arabia also is planning to do so. To achieve this goal, need more attention and focus on mining activities such as exploration, extraction, production, processing of ore as well as export. During a last decade which Iran imposed under tremendous and hard European and United States sanctions, had less chance and hope to follow up this plan. But since beginning 2016 which the most of trading and business sanctions have been removed, Iran not only can equip its mines by brand new machinery and technology but may get much better interest from foreign mining companies and investors to do finance or invest as FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) in Iranian mines. Iran needs by proper planning increase share of GDP for mining production from some existing figure below 1% to above 5% to rely less on oil income, which has already had a share of 23% in Iran’s GDP. We believe to bypass this road need to create a professional brand for Iranian minerals. Hereby we are introducing for the first time a new abbreviation for branding of Iranian minerals named PMP (Persian Mining Product) as a solution for this purpose.

The aim of the study is to develop evaluative knowledge about educational activities in modern English. The relevance of the study is determined by the cognitive approach, in the framework of which the level belonging of evaluative concepts is considered and the means of their representation are revealed. As the main method, the conceptual-definitional analysis is declared, on the basis of which the characteristics of the UPBRINGING concept are revealed and the evaluative benchmarks of the subject of assessment are established in relation to various aspects of educational activity, presented in the form of a frame. We determine that at the superordinate level, evaluative knowledge is based on the acceptability of certain indicators and their compliance with social norms. At this level, assessment is represented by the adjectives accepta-ble/unacceptable and proper. Evaluative knowledge of the basic level is represented by the adjec-tives good, bad, perfect, great, fine. For the observer, in this case, private evaluative meanings are not important, the assessment is presented in a gestalt manner and indicates the approval of the observer due to the compliance of a certain objective characteristic with the standard. At the subordinate level, the assessment is projected onto various private assessment benchmarks that are significant for the observer. It is concluded that the evaluative knowledge about educational activities is formed at the intersection of objective and evaluative characteristics.

Abstract. Background: Monitoring of suicide rates in the recovery phase following a devastating disaster has been limited. Aim: We report on a 7-year follow-up of the suicide rates in the area affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, which occurred in March 2011. Method: This descriptive study covered the period from March 2009 to February 2018. Period analysis was used to divide the 108-month study period into nine segments, in which suicide rates were compared with national averages using Poisson distribution. Results: Male suicide rates in the affected area from March 2013 to February 2014 increased to a level higher than the national average. After subsequently dropping, the male rates from March 2016 to February 2018 re-increased and showed a greater difference compared with the national averages. The difference became significant in the period from March 2017 to February 2018 ( p = .047). Limitations: Specific reasons for increasing the rates in the recovery phase were not determined. Conclusion: The termination of the provision of free temporary housing might be influential in this context. Provision of temporary housing was terminated from 2016, which increased economic hardship among needy evacuees. Furthermore, disruption of the social connectedness in the temporary housing may have had an influence. Our findings suggest the necessity of suicide rate monitoring even in the recovery phase.
