<em><span>This research aims to know: (1) relevance of learning school with Honda; (2) implementation of curriculum techniques motorcycles Honda in Vocational High School Pancasila Surakarta; (3) evaluation curriculum techniques motorcycles Honda in Vocational High School Pancasila Surakarta. This research is evaluative research. Data source derived from 98 students TSM-Honda, headmaster, Deputy Head</span><span>school of curriculum, curriculum development division Honda. Data techniques include by questionnaire, interview, observation, and documentation. This research used logic validity or reasoning that instrument is valid based on rational analysis. Apparatus are arranged based on reasoning should be referred to experts so this instrument truly intelligent before distributed to respondents. The procedure consists research method, determine, devise research instruments, data retrieval, data analysis, the withdrawal of conclusion. The conclusion is: (1) curriculum implementation of Motorcycle-Honda Engineering is composed of four aspects context, planning, execution and evaluation, curriculum implementation of Honda overall reaches 72% with a high category; (2) context aspect reaches 78% with top grade. This means that the aspect context which includes the relevance of learning school with Honda and Honda-TSM program eligibility is already proper; (3) planning aspect reached 68% with a high category. Aspects planning that includes an input of students, the quality of the applicants, the parties involved, the training of teacher preparedness, Honda's been good; (4) implementation aspect of the reach 74% with a high category. Implementation aspects of administrative arrangement that includes teaching, learning materials, tools and materials, media of learning, learning methods are already good; (5) evaluation aspect reached 67% with a high category. An evaluation includes elements of competency teachers, students, students ' value competency, communication with Honda, the success of curriculum, curriculum development is already good.</span></em>

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kondisi awal pembelajaran dalam penerapan Kurikulum 2013 SMK dan kondisi pembelajaran setelah diterapkan Problem Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari pengembangan model pembelajaran PBL dalam Penerapan Kurikulum 2013. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru-guru yang mencoba menerapakan PBL dalam penerapan Kurikulum 2013. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik angket dan wawancara melalui Focused Group Discussion (FGD). Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian tahun pertama menunjukkkan bahwa: (a) PBL sangat potensial diterapkan dalam penerapan Kurikulum 2013 di SMK. Kesiapan guru dalam implementasi Kurikulum 2013 termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dengan harga rerata sebesar 96,73 dan pencapaian skor 71,9%. Kesesuaian implementasi pembelajaran dalam penerapan Kurikulum 2013 termasuk kategori tinggi dengan rerata 152,26 dan pencapaian skor 78,40%. Sebagian besar guru menyatakan bahwa PBL layak diterapkan di setiap mata pelajaran dalam implementasi Kurikulum 2013; (b) PBL terbukti mampu meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam aspek kemampuan (hard skills) maupun sikap (soft skills).Kata kunci: kurikulum 2013, SMK, Probem Based Learning PROBLEM BASED LEARNING IN THE 2013 CURICULLUM IMPLEMENTATION OF VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLAbstractThis study aims to describe the pre-learning condition in 2013 curriculum implementation of vocational high school (VHS) and the post-learning condition that Problem Based Learning (PBL) has been implemented. The research is a part of PBL learning model development in 2013 curriculum implementation. The population of this study is the teachers who try to apply PBL in 2013 curriculum implementation. Data collection was done by questionnaire and interview through the Focused Group Discussion (FGD). Data analysis was conducted descriptively. The first year research finding shows: (a) PBL is very potential to be implemented in 2013 curriculum implementation of vocational high school. Teachers’ readiness in 2013 curriculum implementation came into the high category with average score 97.63% and the attainment score 71.9%. The compatibility of learning implementation in 2013 curriculum came into the high category with average score 152.26 and the attainment score 78.40%. The majority of teachers explained that PBL is valid to be implemented in every subject matter in the 2013 curriculum implementation; (b) PBL is evident can increase the students competence in the hard skills and soft skills aspect.Keywords: 2013 Curriculum, VHS, Problem Based Learning

This article aims to describe content aspects, user aspects and social aspects of the use of mobile technology in vocational schools in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. This research was quantitative descriptive in nature. The populations in this study were teachers and students at a vocational high school in Makassar. The research samples were 54 teachers and 150 students, selected by using the purposive sampling technique. The data were collected using questionnaires and interviews. Data were then analysed using descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that the content aspects were based on learning objectives, and content-based images, media and text are in the very high category. User aspects indicate that the use of mobile technology to access interactive information related to the learning and vocational training are in the very high category. Social aspects show that ethics and interaction through mobile technology to facilitate the need for information skills are also in the very high category

Abstract: Professional teachers can move the dynamics of the progress of national education, for that a continuous, targeted and effective development process is needed. The process to improve professional teachers needs to support all elements related to the teacher. This study aims to describe 1) school policy in increasing teacher professionalism in the Senior/Vocational High School Kambera District. 2) Constraints faced in implementing the improvement of teacher professionalism in the Senior/Vocational High SchoolKambera District. 3) Efforts to the obstacles faced in the implementation of increasing teacher professionalism in the Senior/Vocational High SchoolKambera District. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews, and study of documents that are used as sources of primary data and secondary data. The location of this study was at Senior High School 1 Kambera, Payeti Christian Senior High School, and Vocational High School Negeri 5 Waingapu. The results showed that: 1) the implementation of MGMP activities, PKB, Diklat, curriculum development from the three schools was still lacking because not all teachers were sent in these activities. 2) Constraints faced in implementing teacher professionalism are the continuous development of professionalism, namely the lack of teachers' understanding of teaching materials, and the lack of opportunities for training as supporting professional teachers. 3) Efforts towards the obstacles faced in implementing teacher professionalism have been carried out related to the implementation of PKB, MGMP, curriculum development, training at the school, regional and provincial levels, but these achievements have not been fully maximized. Education and school offices need to continue to strive to improve teacher professionalism.Keywords: School Policy, Professionalism, Teachers Abstrak: Guru profesional dapat menggerakkan dinamika kemajuan pendidikan nasional, untuk itu diperlukan suatu proses pembinaan berkesinambungan, tepat sasaran dan efektif. Proses untuk meningkatkan guru profesional perlu dukungan semua unsur yang terkait dengan guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan 1) kebijakan sekolah dalam peningkatan profesionalisme guru di SMA/SMK Kecamatan Kambera. 2) Kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan peningkatan profesionalisme guru di SMA/SMK Kecamatan Kambera. 3) Upaya terhadap kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan peningkatan profesionalisme guru di SMA/SMK Kecamatan Kambera. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa obsevasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen yang dijadikan sebagai sumber data primer dan data sekunder. Lokasi penelitian ini di SMA Negeri 1 Kambera, SMA Kristen Payeti, dan SMK Negeri 5 Waingapu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) pelaksanaan kegiatan MGMP, PKB, Diklat, pengembangan kurikulum dari ketiga sekolah tersebut masih kurang, karena tidak semua guru-guru dikirim dalam kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut. 2) Kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan peningkatan profesionalisme guru adalah pengembangan keprofesionalan secara berkelanjutan yaitu kurangnya pemahaman guru terhadap materi ajar, dan kurangnya kesempatan untuk mengikuti pelatihan-pelatihan sebagai penunjang menjadi guru profesional. 3) Upaya terhadap kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan peningkatan profesionalisme guru sudah dilaksanakan terkait pelaksanaan PKB, MGMP, pengembangan kurikulum, diklat pada tingkat sekolah, daerah, maupun provinsi tetapi pencapaian tersebut belum sepenuhnya maksimal. Dinas pendidikan maupun sekolah perlu terus mengupayakan peningkatan profesionalisme guru.Kata kunci: Kebijakan Sekolah, Profesionalisme, Guru

<p>The Aim of this research is to what extent does "Think, Pair, Share" use to improve the students' interest in the teaching-learning process for second class students of SMK Muhammadiyah Salatiga. The methodology of the study is classroom action research, where the writer as a teacher in the teaching-learning process, and writer had a partner as observer in learning activities. The objectives of the study are to what extent does "Think, Pair, Share" use to improve the vocabulary mastery, and to what extent does "Think, Pair, Share" use to improve the vocabulary mastery for the second year students of SMK Muhammadiyah Salatiga. The writer applied test, namely pre-test, and post-test. She implemented three cycles. Each consists of planning, implementation of the action, observation, and reflection. The finding shows that Think, Pair, Share learning method can improve vocabulary in teaching-learning process. It can be seen by the result of pretest and posttest in cycle I is 5.49, cycle II is 6.32, and cycle III is 8.03. From the result is greater than t-table with n=33 is 0.42. It means that the use of TPS can improve the student's vocabulary mastery.</p>

The ability to speak in English is one of the requisite skills for vocational high school students majoring in hospitality training. However, most tenth-grade students manifested insufficient skills in speaking English, which resulted in low confidence in speaking. To cope with the challenge, the researchers implemented modified role-play and guided writing to stimulate students in speaking English in classroom action research. The procedure of the research consisted of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The researchers employed observation, questionnaire, documentation and field notes in collecting the data. The research findings presented that the students’ motivation to practice their speaking had increased significantly. Thus, the researchers conclude that role-play and guided writing can be used as a communicative activity where students can simultaneously practise and improve their proficiency in communicating. The researchers also propose suggestion to fellow English teachers to effectively manage the time as well as engaging media to create an enjoyable atmosphere in the teaching-learning process through role-play and guided writing.

ResumoEste trabalho foi motivado pela expectativa de diagnosticar, a partir dos documentos vigentes, a atual forma de organização e de funcionamento do Conselho de Classe no IFMT- campus Cuiabá Cel. Octayde Jorge da Silva. Foi usada uma abordagem qualitativa com característica exploratória, por meio da Técnica da Documentação Indireta: pesquisa bibliográfica e pesquisa documental. Para tanto, buscou-se um embasamento teórico por meio de bibliografias referentes ao Conselho de Classe e em documentos legais como: a LDB/96; o Projeto Pedagógico Institucional do IFMT/2019 e a Organização Didática do IFMT/2014. Com base nos documentos legais se concluiu que o Conselho de Classe deve ser instituído nas escolas de forma participativa e colegiada, e que essa instância possui uma função importante no tocante ao acompanhamento do processo de ensino e aprendizagem. Todavia, não foram encontrados, no âmbito da Instituição, documentos com orientações para a prática da organização e do funcionamento do Conselho de Classe. Assim, identificou-se a necessidade de se construírem tais instrumentos, com vistas a ações mais efetivas para a execução, o acompanhamento e a avaliação do processo pedagógico nos cursos Técnicos Integrados ao Ensino Médio. AbstractThis work was motivated by the expectation of diagnosing, based on the current documents, the current form of organization and functioning of the Class Council at the IFMT-campus Cuiabá Cel. Octayde Jorge da Silva. A qualitative approach with an exploratory characteristic was used, through the Indirect Documentation Technique: bibliographic research and documentary research. To this end, a theoretical basis was sought through bibliographies regarding the Class Council and in legal documents such as: LDB / 96; the Institutional Pedagogical Project of IFMT / 2019 and the Didactic Organization of IFMT / 2014. Based on the legal documents, it was concluded that the Class Council should be instituted in schools in a participatory and collegial way, and that this instance has an important role regarding the teaching-learning process monitoring. However, no documents were found, within the institution, with guidelines for the organization practice and the Class Council functioning. Thus, the need to build such instruments was identified, with a view to more effective actions for the execution, monitoring and evaluation of the pedagogical process in the Technical courses integrated to High School. ABSTRACT This research aims to evaluate the completeness level of equipments standard of engineering elevtrical power’s installation in Taruna Bangsa Vocational High School, which was ruled in the Ministry of Education’s rules No. 1 2019 and The National Standardization Agency of Indonesia No. 1103-P2-18/19 about the Verification Instruments of Vocational High School, The Organizer of Vocational Practice Exam 2018/2019.This is an evaluative research using a quantitative descriptive approach. The evaluative model used was a discrepancy evaluation model, which was developed by M. Provus. The variable in this research is the equipment of electricity power’s installation practice in Taruna Bangsa Vocational High School Bekasi. The methods of collecting the data were three types: observation method, documentation, and interviews. The instrument used was collecting the data using observation paper and list of matched documentation. The analysis technique used in this research is rating scale.The result shows that the reaching of equipment of  elecrical power installation practice in Taruna Bangsa Vocational High School Bekasi in academic year of 2018/2019  was categorized as complete with the 89,36%. percentages. The completeness was reviewed from the equipments in practice room as complete (88.5%), the equipments of learning media room is complete (100%), the main equipment of practice is complete (93%), and for the main substance of practice room is complete (88.2%),also for the equipment support is compelete (77.1%). ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi tingkat kelengkapan standar peralatan praktik teknik instalasi tenaga listrik di SMK Taruna Bangsa Bekasi yang diatur dalam Permendiknas No. 1 tahun 2019 dan Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan No. 1103-P2-18/19 mengenai Instrumen Verifikasi SMK Tentang Penyelenggara Ujian Praktik Kejuruan Tahun 2018/2019. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Model evaluasi yang digunakan adalah model evaluasi kesenjangan (discrepancy evaluation model) yang dikembangkan oleh M. Provus. Variabel penelitian ini adalah peralatan praktik teknik instalasi tenaga listrik di SMK Taruna Bangsa Bekasi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ada tiga macam, yaitu metode observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan daftar cocok dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rating scale. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat ketercapaian kelengkapan peralatan praktik teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik di SMK Taruna Bangsa Bekasi pada tahun ajaran 2018/2019 dikategorikan sangat lengkap dengan persentase 89,36%. Kelengkapan di tinjau dari perabotan ruang praktik  yaitu 88.5% (sangat lengkap), media pembelajaran ruang praktik 100% (sangat lengkap), peralatan utama praktik 93% (sangat lengkap), bahan utama ruang praktik 88.2% (sangat lengkap) dan peralatan pendukung ruang praktik 77.1% (lengkap).

This study aims to determine the Contribution of Student Competence and the Utilization of Learning Facilities in Schools Against the Learning Readiness of Class X Students in Audio Video Engineering Expertise Program at SMK Negeri 2 Solok. The population of this study were all students of class X audio video engineering skills program at SMK Negeri 2 Solok 2018/2019 academic year, amounting to 60 students. data retrieval using a random sample of 52 students. The research data collection method used documentation and questionnaires shared with students. This data analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis. The results of the study showed that (1) contributing to student competency and the use of learning facilities in schools together contributed 42.51% to the Learning Preparedness of Class X of the Audio Engineering Expertise Program at Solok State Vocational High School, (2) Student competence contributed as much as 22.66% of the Learning Preparedness of Class X Students in the Audio Engineering Expertise Program at Solok State Vocational High School, (3) Utilizing learning facilities in schools jointly contributes 14.06% to Class X Students' Readiness in Audio Engineering Skills Program in Vocational Schools Negeri 2 Solok. So it can be concluded that Student Competence and Utilization of Learning Facilities in Schools Contribute to Learning Readiness at Solok 2 Vocational School.Keywords: Student Competence, Use of School Learning Facilities, Learning Readiness.
