<p>This article interprets the perception and aspirations of the city community, as a cornerstone of drafting the design criteria of a community-based city park landscape, which is effective and sustainable. Flooding and drought problems in Jakarta and surrounding areas should be resolved in a comprehensive, integrated and sustainable manner. Referring to the Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) which is an innovation in integrated water management, it is recommended to develop the function of detention and retention ponds as part of storm drainage system, replacing conventional system. Development of the city park landscape criteria as the synergies of the RTH function and the detention/retention ponds should be approached in a very careful, avoiding fatal malfunction and harsh rejection of the user community. The best approach should be done through tracing the needs, desires and expectations of the city community as the ‘end user' as well as 'super client' of the city park. Research on the perception and aspirations of the city community on the idea of the development of City Park with the role of retention/retention ponds has been conducted between February to May 2020 in Jabodetabek. <strong></strong></p>

ABSTRACT: This study aimed to define the flood inundation area of the stream Macambira to implement a linear park. This stream is the subject of a project called Urban Environmental Program-Macambira Anicuns, which aims to transform the banks of these two streams in a public park for the city of Goiania. The stream in question, not different from the others in the urban area, is currently degraded and the floodplain areas occupied by disorderly houses, shops, small industries and plantations. To define the maximum perimeter of the park, its area of coverage, a hydrodynamic study was necessary with the delimitation of flood area of Macambira's urban stream margins, in Goiania, using high-resolution topography and HEC-RAS software. Overall, the flood of band obtained for the study area was flooded in the natural channel of the stream. However, there are overflowing in some points, reaching the streets and places of populated areas, reaching up to 70 meters from the natural channel. Thus, the modeling HEC-RAS allowed contemplate the current diagnosis of the drainage system Stream Macambira, focusing on the hydraulic behavior of the existing drainage channel, providing the basis for the project, so that we can establish effective intervention strategies more appropriate for each situation.

Kata kunci: ruang publik, sans serif, taman kota Bandung, tipografi spasial AbstractThe use of three-dimensional spatial typography as a medium of information was commonly used, even in the city of Bandung in every park using a creative approach to environmental typography. Apart from its role as city lungs, public space city parks also became a space for the community to interact, psychological healing in the city community, and providing a modern sensation. City parks in Bandung are often using the spatial typographic approach of Sans Serif as; Tegal Lega Park, Senior Park, Photography Park, Petpark Park, Superhero Park, and other Parks. Three-dimensional sans serif typographical objects are observed descriptively to the characteristics of letters in readability, legibilities, visibility, and clarity with data search methods through the observation of typography objects on the display of park identity names. The utilization of  Sans Serif typographic in public spaces is only functional as an identity and it's not intended as a cultural or symbolic character booster. Keywords: Bandung city park, public space, sans serif, spatial typography

Abstract The aim of this study has been to demonstrate the way of determination of drainage discharge by the method of De Zeeuw-Hellinga in the transient drainage flow conditions. For comparison and verification of numerical experiment of calculation of drainage discharge by equation of De Zeeuw-Hellinga with measured daily values of drainage discharge was selected subsurface pipe drainage system in experimental drained area, placed in the local city park next to the Mseno Dam, in the city of Jablonec nad Nisou, Czech Republic. The results showed a good conformity between calculations and measured data, the differences between De Zeeuw-Hellinga’s approximations and measured daily values of drainage discharge fluctuated from 0.6 (mm.day-1) to zero, and confirmed that the De Zeeuw-Hellinga’s formula is a suitable tool for approximation of the drainage discharge in the transient flow conditions. It was confirmed again that De Zeeuw-Hellinga theory is also applicable for the shallow subsurface pipe drainage system.

Based on a comprehensive assessment of the state of the park landscape, the level of its anthropogenic transformation is determined, which is necessary to identify the potential for restoring the natural biodiversity of the object. It is reported that the plantations and soil cover of the park of the 50th anniversary of VLKSM are very heterogeneous; they reflect the history of park establishment. The soil cover consists of three main types: sod, bog and urbanozem. It should be stressed that the best preserved part of the park is the plot with boggy soils around the pond. Herbaceous plants growing on the plot are very similar to the species composition of the ground cover of overgrown peat bogs. Over the 40 years since the foundation of the park, a high level of pollutants has been accumulated in the soil, which allows us to state that the negative impact occurs constantly. Consequently, the existing plantings are insufficient to protect visitors from vehicle emissions from the roads along Yasnaya and Shaumyana streets. There are enough natural elements in the park of the 50th anniversary of VLKSM; this should be taken into account in its redevelopment. There is an opportunity to restore the reservoir and return the plantings to their natural appearance. It is proposed to add elements of landscape decoration in the park.

The author examines the “In Thee rejoiceth” icons as visual sources that make it possible to reconstruct the ideal model of medieval society in the Moscow culture of the late 15th and early 16th centuries. This icon type, which includes the scenes of “Human race” collective praying to the Mother of God, is of Russian origin. Unlike other works of that time typologically close to it (“The Intercession”, “The Congregation of Our Lady”, “The Congregation of All Saints”, etc.), the “In Thee rejoiceth” icons demonstrate a historical connection to religious and socio-cultural facts of the Muscovy state. They clearly express the idea of Muscovy enjoying special patronage of the Mother of God, whose cult was actively developed in Moscow, the city that, as was believed at the Grand Dukes’ court, inherited the traditions and the spiritual authority of Constantinople. The depiction of the “Human race” in the “In Thee rejoiceth” icons can be viewed as a metaphorical image of the capital city community consisting of different groups of clergy and laity. This image corresponded to the ideas of the authorities and the population of the Russian state that existed under Ivan III and Vasili III.
