PT. Victory Chingluh Indonesia is a company engaged in the manufacture of sports shoes in collaboration with an American brand, namely Nike. From the results of the Nordic Body Map Questionnaire at the PPIC RH department of the checking ruber section, many workers have complaints in the muscles (musculoskeletal disorders) due to non-ergonomic workplaces as many as 20 workers or 64.5% feel pain in the high category, as many as 8 workers or 25, 8% felt pain in the moderate category, for the category of pain with very high intensity as many as 2 workers or 6.4% and 1 worker or 3.2% felt pain in the low category. From these results, it is necessary to take further action by making ergonomic designs of Working Furnitures (tables and chairs) with reference to anthropometric values. With this reference, we get a table design with a length of 133.6 cm using the 5th percentile, a table width of 66.8 cm with a 5th percentile and a table height of 63.2 and a chair design with a chair height of 41.2 cm with a 50th percentile. -, the width of the seat base is 40.5 cm with the 95th percentile, it is expected that workers who have a maximum hip width can use the chair, the length of the seat base is 37.8 cm with the 5th percentile, the height of the seat back is 54.5 cm with the 50th percentile th and the width of the seat backrest is 48.9 cm with the 95th percentile. Keywords: Ergonomics, Anthropometry, musculoskeletal disorders. <p><em>Jaya Launch Pad is a company engaged in educational services. It is undeniable that service sector companies such as Jaya Launch Pad also have a workforce whose work posture may be less ergonomic, which can lead to musculoskeletal disorders. Musculoskeletal disorders can be experienced by people of all ages. Therefore, this study focuses on work posture. This research occurred because of complaints experienced by staff. The number of samples used in this study was 1 person. This was influenced by the Covid-19 pandemic situation so that there was only 1 staff when the observation was made. The research method used was the nordic body map (NBM) to determine which parts of the body are experiencing complaints, and the rapid office strain assessment (ROSA) to measure the risk of injury due to the posture of sitting at a computer for 8 hours. The result is that the complaint assessment using the NBM questionnaire has a score of 52 (needs improvement at a later date) with 4 categories of severe pain, namely back, waist, buttocks, and buttocks. Meanwhile, the score from the ROSA table is 6 which means it is risky / dangerous so that it needs improvement. Therefore, a proposed condition is given in the form of a replacement of work facilities in the form of a work chair with adjustable height and adjustable armrests. This improvement is assumed to be able to reduce the level of staff complaints, and the calculation result of the rapid office strain assessment (ROSA) is 4 which means no risk so that this improvement is accepted and can solve the work posture problem of staff at Jaya Launch Pad.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p> </p>

Abstract. CV. X is a company engaged in the convection of women's bags and mini backpacks. CV. X uses the make to order process. In the process of making a mini backpack, the activities are carried out in a sitting position according to the standard, namely the sewing process, while for the process of the pattern, the cutting process, and the process of installing the accessories are done in a sitting position on the floor without a base. Based on the results of interviews with operators, it was found that the most complaints with the working conditions of the neck bowed, back bent, sat barefooted with legs crossed occurred in the operator mounting accessories. The method used is the OWAS method and the Nordic Body Map Questionnaire. Based on the results of interviews and the Nordic Body Map questionnaire, complaints were felt that consisted of neck, lower back and lower legs, knees, buttocks, and ankles. The following conditions cause muscle injury, musculoskeletal disorders. The results of the determination of work risk using the Ovako Working Analysis System (OWAS) method obtained all work elements in the process of installing accessories with the second level category, namely the process of gluing spots, cutting relief materials, linking relief and hurdles, linking spots, uniting all elements, and installing accessories. Abstrak. CV. X merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang konveksi tas wanita dan mini backpack. CV. X menggunakan proses make to order. Pada proses pembuatan tas mini backpack yang aktivitasnya dikerjakan dengan posisi duduk sesuai standar yaitu proses penjahitan, sedangkan untuk proses pola, proses potong, dan proses pemasangan accesories dikerjakan dengan posisi duduk dilantai tanpa alas dilakukan secara berulang-ulang dan dalam jangka waktu yang lama. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan operator didapatkan bahwa keluhan terbanyak dengan kondisi kerja leher menunduk, punggung membungkuk, duduk tanpa alas dengan kaki menyilang terjadi pada operator pemasangan accesories. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode OWAS dan Kuisioner Nordic Body Map. Berdasarkan hasil dari wawancara dan kuisioner Nordic Body Map diperoleh keluhan yang dirasakan terdiri dari bagian leher, punggung atas dan bawah, lutut, bokong/paha, dan pergelangan kaki.. Hasil dari penentuan risiko kerja menggunakan metode Ovako Working Analysis System (OWAS) didapat seluruh elemen kerja pada proses pemasangan accesories dengan kategori level dua yaitu proses merekatkan bintik, menggunting bahan lega, mengaitkan lega dan gawang, mengaitkan bintik, menyatukan semua elemen, dan pemasangan accesories.

PT PJB UPHT is a company that runs a service in maintaining a unit of power station. The job description includes overhaul that is done manually by its workers. This work that is done manually has a risk of suffering musculoskeletal. The aim of this study is to examine the relation between the risk of ergonomic’s factor with musculoskeletal disorders on overhaul workers in mechanical turbine department. This study is an observational descriptive research. The tool used to measure musculoskeletal disorders was Nordic Body Map (NBM) checklist sheet. In order to measure the work postures of workers, REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment) method was employed. Meanwhile, questionnaires were used to know types of work. The total population of this research was 17 workers in mechanical turbine. The data was analyzed using cross tabulation to see the relation strength. The result of this study shows that all overhaul workers in mechanical turbine suffer from musculoskeletal. It can be concluded that the risk of ergonomic’s factor in this case is type of work have strong relation to the suffering of musculoskeletal on workers.Keywords: mechanical turbine workers, musculoskeletal disorders, the risk of ergonomic’s factor

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran Termokimia melalui penerapan strategi Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) (POGIL) di kelas 11 SMAN 8 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design yang diadakan di SMAN 8 Pekanbaru pada tahun akademik 2017/2018. Objek penelitian adalah XI MIA 1 yang terdiri dari 32 siswa. Pengumpulan data siswa menggunakan teknik tes pretest dan posttest. Keberhasilan pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan kriteria berpikir kritis dari hasil pretest dan posttest yang menganalisis persentase skor berpikir kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Siswa mengalami peningkatan dari kategori berpikir kritis sangat rendah ke kategori sangat tinggi dengan persentase 15,625%, dari kategori rendah ke kategori sangat tinggi adalah 40,625%, dari kategori rata-rata ke kategori sangat tinggi adalah 9,375%, dari kategori sangat rendah hingga kategori tinggi adalah 12,5%, dan dari kategori rendah ke kategori tinggi adalah 21,875%. Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan strategi Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran Termokimia di SMAN 8 Pekanbaru.   The research was held to determine the improvement of student’s critical thinking ability on Thermochemistry subject through implementation of Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) strategy at 11th Grade of SMAN 8 Pekanbaru. This research used One Group Pretest-Posttest Design which held in SMAN 8 Pekanbaru at academic year of 2017/2018. The object of research is XI MIA 1 that consist of 32 students. The data collection of students used test technique which are pretest and posttest. The success of learning in improvement of student’s critical thinking ability is showed by improvement of criteria of critical thinking from pretest and posttest results that analyzed the score percentage of critical thinking. The result of research showed that there was an improvement of student’s critical thinking ability. The students have an increase from the very low category of critical thinking to very high category with percentage of 15,625%, from low category to very high category is 40,625%, from average category to very high category is 9,375%, from very low category to high category is 12,5%, and from low category to high category is 21,875%. Based on data analyze, it can be concluded that implementation of Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) strategy is able to improve student’s critical thinking ability on Thermochemistry subject at SMAN 8 Pekanbaru.

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">This study aims to develop a Three-tier Diagnostic Instrument on Chemical Equilibrium (TT-DICE) to diagnose high school students’ misconceptions related to this topic. TT-DICE consists of thirty items, asking for students’ answers, reasonings, and levels of confidence. Three-stages development models developed by Treagust applied in developing TT-DICE. First-stage was a literature study to analyze the main concepts and students’ misconceptions in CE. The next step is the development of the TT-DICE prototype, consisting of item development, preliminary experiments, interviews, and revisions. The third stage of validity checking starts with content validation by experts and practitioners. A field test conducted to determine the reliability and quality variables are supporting TT-DICE items. These variables are Item Validity (IV), Difficulty Level (DL), Discrimination Index (DI), and effectiveness of distractors. Content validity by validators showed that the TT-DICE is valid with a very high category (96.1%). The results of item validity show that 88.9% of the items are valid. Testing of DL, DI, and the effectiveness of distractors in general, shows a good category. The Reliability of the three-tiers TTDICE using Alpha Cronbach is a high and very high category, respectively (0.83, 0.81 &amp; 0.91). The overall validity test results also concluded if the TT-DICE is valid, reliable, and suitable to diagnose misconceptions of Chemical Equilibrium.</span></p>

X-ray focusing based on Bragg reflection at curved crystals allows collection of a large solid angle of incident radiation, monochromatization of this radiation, and condensation of the beam reflected at the crystal into a small spatial cross-section in a pre-selected focal plane. Thus, for the Bragg reflected radiation, one can achieve higher intensities than for the radiation passing directly to the same small area in the focal plane. In that case one can profit considerably from X-ray focusing in an EDXRF arrangement. The 00 2 reflection at Highly Oriented Pyrolytic Graphite (HOPG) crystals offers a very high intensity of the Bragg reflected beam for a wide range of photon energies. Furthermore, curvature radii smaller than 10 mm can be achieved for HOPG crystals ensuring efficient X-ray focusing in EDXRF applications. For the trace analysis of very small amounts of specimen material deposited on small areas of thin-filter backings, HOPG based X-ray focusing may be used to achieve a very high intensity of monochromatic excitation radiation.

AbstrakTujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa besar faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi minat siswa-siswi dalam mengikuti ektrakurikuler bola voli di SMP N 3 Satu Atap Karangsambung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif menggunakan metode survei. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan adalah siswa yang mengikuti ektrakurikuler bola voli di SMP N 3 Satu Atap Karangsambung sebanyak 19 anak. Intrumen yang digunakan berupa angket, dengan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,953 dan untuk menganalisis data digunakan statistik deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan minat siswa dalam mengikuti ektrakurikuler bola voli di SMP N 3 Satu Atap Karangsambung sebagian besar berada pada kategori tinggi sebesar 57,80 %, diikuti pada kategori rendah sebesar 21,2 %, kemudian kategori sangat tinggi sebesar 10,5 %, dan kategori sangat rendah sebesar 10,5 %. Jadi dapat disimpulkan minat siswa dalam mengikuti ekstrakurikuler bola voli di SMP N 3 Satu Atap Karangsambung sebagian besar berada pada kategori tinggi.Kata kunci : Minat, Ekstrakurikuler Bola voli,AbstractThe objective of this research is to determine how much the factors that can affect the interest of students in joining volleyball extracurricular at SMPN 3 Satu Atap Karangsambung. This research is descriptive research using survey method. The research subject used were students who took volleyball extracurricular at SMPN 3 Satu Atap Karangsambung as many as 19 students. The instrument used was questionnaire, with a reliability coefficient of 0.953 and to analyze the data used quantitative descriptive statistic with percentage. The results show that students' interest in joining volleyball extracurricular at SMPN 3 Satu Atap Karangsambung is mostly in the high category at 57.80%, followed by the low category at 21.2%, then the very high category at 10.5%, and the very low category at 10.5%. So, it can be concluded that students' interest in joining volleyball extracurricular at SMPN 3 Satu Atap Karangsambung is mostly in the high category.Keywords: Interest, Volleyball Extracurricular
