<p>This study aims to analyze the specifications of energy modules in life systems integrating religious values on students’ scientific literacy. The research method uses a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest and posttest, with 50 seventh grade students in Islamic-based schools as research subjects. The data obtained were then analyzed using quantitative descriptive. The results of this study indicate that the application of energy modules in living systems integrating religious values is effective on the scientific literacy of students based on the average n-gain score of 0.44 which falls into the medium category. The scientific literacy competence of students in this study sequentially from the highest is to explain scientific phenomena with a percentage of 68.62%, then interpret data and scientific evidence with a percentage of 53.64%, and evaluate and design scientific investigations with a percentage of 41.67 %. Learning by using this module can improve students’ learning outcomes by making learning situations more active so that it is easier to understand the concept of energy in living systems. The research concludes that the application of energy modules in life systems integrating religious values is effective on students’ scientific literacy.  </p>

Scientific skills literacy is one of the skills that students need to have to support the learning process. This study aims to explain the literacy skills of the students through project experience with the help of local potential-based teaching materials. This research is a quantitative study and it used quasi-experimental design, pre-and posttest design. ANCOVA analysis was used as the data analysis technique at a significant level of 5% (p <0.5). Analysis prerequisite tests included the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test for normality test and homogeneity of variance with Levene's-Test. All data testing was done using the SPSS version 23.0 for Windows. The results of the study show that the experience of project activities has a significant effect on the scientific literacy skills in three competencies. These competencies are to explain scientific phenomena, evaluate and design scientific investigations and interpret scientific evidence and data. Competence in evaluating and designing scientific investigations has the greatest significance compared to the other two competencies.

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari kajian ini adalah memberikan gambaran kemampuan literasi sains siswa SMA khusunya di kota Kendari. Subjek penelitian terpusat di SMA 1 Kendari dengan total subjek sebanyak 350 orang. Topik pelajaran yang digunakan adalah energi. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpalan data menggunaka tes yang didalamnya meliputi aspek kontek, konten, dan proses. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan statustuf deskriptif . Hasil investigasi diperoleh bahwa Kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik kelas X di SMAN 1 Kendari pada indicator aspek konten dimana indicator pertama yaitu perubahan energy memperoleh nilai presentase 70,83% dengan kategori cukup. Kemudian untuk indicator bahan bakar alternative memperoleh nilai presentase 79,72% dengan kategori baik. Sedangkan untuk indicator molekul penyedia energi memperoleh nilai presentase 33,75% dengan kategori sangat rendah. Kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik kelas X di SMAN 1 Kendari pada indicator aspek proses  dimana pada indicator pertama mengidentifikasi isu ilmiah memperoleh nilai presentase 50,13% dengan rendah. Kemudian untuk indicator menjelaskan fenomena ilmiah memperoleh nilai presentase 34,62% dengan kategori sangat rendah. Sedangkan untuk indicator menggunakan bukti ilmiah memperoleh nilai presentase 52,69% dengan kategori rendah. Sedangkan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik kelas X di SMAN 1 Kendari pada indicator aspek konteks dimana pada indicator pertama aplikasi energi bidang teknologi memperoleh nilai presentase 89,72% dengan kategori sangat baik. Kemudian untuk indicator energi dalam meningkatkan mutu lingkungan memperoleh nilai presentase 29,16% dengan kategori sangat rendah. Untuk indicator dampak energi memperoleh nilai presentase 17,08% dengan kategori sangat rendah. Kata kunci—Literasi sains, Pembelajaran fisika ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to provide an overview of the ability of  student senior high school of scientific literacy  especially in the city of Kendari.The research subjects were concentrated in senior high school 1 Kendari with a total of 350 subjects. The topic of the lesson used was energy. This type of research used descriptive quantitative approach.Data collection techniques use tests which included aspects of context, content, and process. While the data analysis technique used descriptive statistics. The results of the investigation found that the scientific literacy ability of class X students in Senior High School 1 Kendari on the indicator aspect of content where the first indicator was the change in energy obtains a percentage of 70.83% with a sufficient category. Then for alternative fuel indicators got a percentage value of 79.72% with a good category. As for the energy supply molecular indicator, it s a percentage of 33.75% with a very low category. The ability of scientific literacy in class X students in Senior High School 1 Kendari in the process aspect indicator where the first indicator identifies scientific issues obtains a percentage value of 50.13% with low. Then, to explain scientific phenomena acquire indicator value percentage of 34.62% with a very low category. As for the indicator using scientific evidence obtained percentage value of 52.69% with a lower category. While the scientific literacy ability of class X students in Senior High School 1 Kendari on the indicator of context aspects where the first indicator of energy application in the technology field obtained a percentage value of 89.72% with a very good category. Then for the energy indicator in improving environmental quality, the percentage value is 29.16% with a very low category. Science literacy is the main key to face challenges in the 21st century. The research aimed to describe the students abilities of science literacy on chemical equilibrium topic through implementation of guided inquiry learning model. The research design used is One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research was conducted in class XI MIPA 4 of SMAN 3 Surabaya. Data obtained by instruments of multiple-choice tests of scientific literacy and observation sheet. The results showed that every aspect of students’ scientific literacy ability was increased in the medium criteria, it was indicated by an average gain score of 0.6 for competence to explain scientific phenomena and to evaluate data and design scientific investigations. Moreover competence of interpreting data and scientific evidence obtains gain score of 0.7. The result of this research indicated that the ability of scientific literacy had been trained to students.

This study aims to analyze the effect of energy modules in life systems on religious values and communication skills. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with a population of 40 students in grade 7 in SMPN 1 Rumpin, Bogor district. The research design used was a one-group pre-test and post-test. The data obtained were then analyzed using quantitative descriptive. The finding shows that the application of energy modules in living systems effectively internalizes the religious values of students based on the average n-gain of 0.49 which is included in the medium category. Students’ communication skills reach a good category with a score of 78%. The study concludes that the energy module in living systems effectively internalizes religious values and students’ communication skills.

This research aimed at assessing the effectiveness of the creative problem-solving learning model in 8th grade of mathematics learning. The assessment of the effectiveness of learning model was reviewed based on three aspects, namely students’ activities, students’ responses to the learning model, and students’ learning outcomes. The type and approach, which used in this research, were quantitative descriptive with the research subjects of 8th-C class; moreover, the subjects consisted of 32 students. The instruments used to assess the effectiveness of the learning model were the students’ activity observation sheet, students’ responses questionnaire, and test sheet. The results of the research showed that the students’ activities were categorized as very good, in which the percentages were 84.38%. The students’ responses were categorized as very good with a percentage of 82.53%. The students’ learning outcomes in a classical manner could be said as complete with the completeness of 71.88%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of creative problem-solving learning model in mathematics learning can be said as effective.

This study examined the effectiveness of a Green Food and Beverage (GFB) blended learning approach. A quasi-experimental research design was employed to verify the learning outcomes of implementing the GFB blended learning. Junior hospitality students were the research subjects. The experimental group participated in an 18-week GFB blended learning course, while the control group experienced traditional teaching. A total of 99 valid subjects were recruited. Statistical analyses were used to examine whether the participants of two groups had different green food literacy, transformative abilities, unit learning achievements, and learning experiences. The results confirmed that the blended learning course was more suitable for capturing students' attention and satisfying them through the course learning and could promote students' green food knowledge, green food responsibility, commitment to green food, and civic green food behavior. It could also enhance the psychological empowerment of students related to green food practices and problem solving to ensure food sustainability.

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through portfolio learning in Class II PKN subjects SDN 2 Uekuli. The research method used was classroom action research with 15 students of class II SDN 2 Uekuli as the research subjects. The research instrument used observation sheets, questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique used in this research was qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in student activity and teacher performance in the learning process. The increase in the learning process has a positive effect on student learning outcomes, student outcomes have increased each cycle. Cycle I shows that classically students who have completed learning reached 25.58%, cycle II increased to 81.39%, then increased again in cycle III to 97.67%. The average learning outcomes also increased, in the first cycle was 53.05; cycle II increased to 73.49; and increased again in cycle III to 86.51. This shows an increase in students' understanding of learning material on children's rights at home and at school.

This research aims to develop guided inquiry based teaching materials which is valid, practical, and effective to facilitate the students’ scientific literacy. The development of teaching material used the 4D model  and was tested in grade 7th-D of SMP GEMA 45 in the second semester of  2014/2015 by using the Pre-Experimental One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The data collection used documentation observation, test, and quetionnaires. The data analysis techniques used quantitative descriptive analysis.The results of this research are:1) Teaching material developed is valid categorised  to be use consisted of Syllabus, Lesson Plan, Student Worksheet, Student Book and Test of student learning outcomes; 2) The practicality of teaching material in terms of a good category in feasibility of lesson plans, the students’ activities in accordance with  inquiry model and students give a positive responses toward teaching material and implementation of teaching material developed; and 3) The teaching material effectiveness in terms of: (a) Improving students’ learning achievement seen from the individual and classical completeness; (b) Improving students’ scientific literacy by getting gain score between middle until high category. Based on data analyzed the teaching materials based on guided inquiry are valid, practical, and effective to facilitate the students’ scientific literacy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri terbimbing yang layak (valid, praktis, dan efektif) untuk melatih literasi sains siswa. Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan model 4D  dan diujicobakan di kelas VII-D SMP GEMA 45 semester genap tahun ajaran 2014/2015 dengan One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi, observasi, tes, dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan,: 1) Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berkategori valid; 2) Perangkat pembelajaran berketagori praktis ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan RPP, aktivitas siswa sesuai dengan tahap-tahap model inkuiri, dan siswa merespon positif perangkat yang dikembangkan dan implementasinya; serta 3) Perangkat pembelajaran telah efektif ditinjau dari: (a) Peningkatan pengetahuan siswa (b) Peningkatan literasi sains  siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berbasis  inkuiri terbimbing yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk melatih literasi sains siswa sehingga layak untuk digunakan.

<p><em>The purpose of this research is to know the application of "Cooperative Type" learning model STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) in improving the result of learning Hindu Religion students.This research includes classroom action research (PTK) with cyclustic design In this research used research subjects 13 students, taken from the students of class VII A who have not met the criteria of mastery learning.The target of research is the result of learning Hindu Religion students in SMP Negeri 4 Negara.After the data collected, then analyzed with quantitative descriptive analysis.Results of data analysis showed an increase of average The results of Hinduism learning obtained on the pre cycle of student learning outcomes only reached 69.09 and in the first cycle student learning outcomes increased 77.39.And in Cycle II student learning outcomes rose to 83.48 Or from pre-cycle to cycle I increased by 12,01%, from pre cycle to cycle II equal to 20,83%, and cycle I to si Second cluster of 7.87%. Based on the results of this data analysis, it can be concluded that the implementation of Cooperative Type STAD learning model can improve the learning result of Hindu religion students in SMP Negeri 4 Negara, Jembrana District.</em></p>

This study is a quasi experimental study aimed to describe the use of methods SQ3R and motivation and student learning outcomes learning materials reading comprehension. Implementation of the research in accordance with the learning procedure starting from planning, core activities and weekend activities. This study is an experimental research that distinguishes SQ3R method and conventional methods as well as motivation and learning outcomes. Research subjects a class XI student of SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. Results motivation and learning outcomes that motivated the data analysis methods SQ3R average of 129.56 and an average of 119.11 conventional methods; (2) Analysis of the average data overall learning outcomes of the students taught using methods SQ3R of 26.56 and 22.33 for the conventional method difference 4.23; (3) Analysis of average data results that are taught using methods SQ3R highest score 30.67 High Group and group the highest score 22.24 Low 8.23 difference in numbers; average data analysis of learning outcomes are taught with methods SQ3R study group Low highest score 26.28 and Conventional High group scores highest score group low 26.28 and the lowest scoring average 18.39 7.89 difference in numbers. So from this analysis can be concluded that the method SQ3R motivation and learning outcomes is higher than the motivation and learning outcomes conventional methods.Keywords: methods SQ3R, motivation and learning outcomes
