In this study, three novel regression models are introduced for estimating and forecasting peppermint yield production. Several indices of the goodness of fit are used to assess the quality of the suggested models. The proposed models for yield production are compared to current regression models that are well-known. Primary data from the Banki block of the Barabanki District of Uttar Pradesh State in India was used to validate the efficiency conditions for the suggested models to outperform the competition models. The empirical results suggest that the proposed models for estimating and predicting peppermint yield production are more efficient than competing estimators.

The article is devoted to the research of evaluating the efficiency and competitiveness of transport and logistics enterprises. The aim of the work is to study the issues of assessing the efficiency and competitiveness of transport and logistics companies based on the analysis of leading players in the Ukrainian market of transport and logistics services. In the process of research, the authors used a dialectical method, which revealed the essence of the concept "efficiency", conditions and indicators of competitiveness of transport and logistics companies; systemic and synergetic approaches, which allowed to consider the evaluation of the enterprises’ efficiency in close connection with ensuring their competitiveness, to analyze the indicators of competitiveness in various components of the transport and logistics enterprises. In the process of analysis, differences in the concepts of efficiency and competitiveness of the transport and logistics company were identified. The concept of efficiency in the work is revealed through the relevant aspects of the transport and logistics company. The methodology proposed by the authors to assess the economic efficiency of the transport and logistics company is of scientific interest. The six most powerful transport and logistics companies operating in Ukraine are analyzed in order to determine their competitive advantages and assess their competitiveness in the market. The system of indicators is offered in the work, according to which the complex competitiveness of transport and logistics enterprises is estimated, the principles of competitiveness of the enterprises working in this branch are defined. The analysis revealed some cases when the transport and logistics company pursued the tactical goal of reducing its competitiveness. The reasons for such behavior of the company in the market are substantiated. A number of recommendations have been developed to increase the integrated competitiveness of transport and logistics companies in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and market uncertainty.

The idea of the present paper is the use of the known information on study variable for enhanced estimation of average paddy production of Pira Nagar village at Barabanki District in India under the Simple Random Sampling Scheme. This known information is utilzed in the form of median of primary variable as it is readily available and does not require every unit of the population to be inquired. The Bias and MSE of the suggested estimator are derived up to approximation of degree one.The minimum value of the MSE of suggested estimator is also obtained by optimizing the characterizing scalar. The MSE has also been compared with the considered competing estimators both theoretically and empirically. The theoretical efficiency conditions of the suggested estimator to be better than the considered estimators are verified using natural population on primary data collected from Pira Nagar Village at Barabanki District of Uttar Pradesh state in India.

In the paper, we analyze the necessary efficiency conditions for scalar, vectorial and vector fractional variational problems using curvilinear integrals as objectives and we establish sufficient conditions of efficiency to the above variational problems. The efficiency sufficient conditions use of notions of the geodesic invex set and of (strictly, monotonic) ( ρ , b)-geodesic quasiinvex functions.

In this study investigation , the utilization silica for removal of copper ions from produced water by the adsorption process. Examination was carried out by studying several parameters like pH solution, adsorbent dosage and contact time. Experiments of adsorption were done at 25 ˚C . Copper ions adsorption was very influenced by the pH of solution . The maximum removal efficiency reached (99.99) when the pH was 7. The optimum removal efficiency conditions for Cu2+ using silica are pH 7, contact time 60 min, and dose of silica adsorbent 0.4 mg.
