Sidoarjo has a unique tourist attraction due to the disaster that has happened before, so that emerging potential that can be developed into tourist attraction. But Lapindo mud tourism has a very complex problematics to be used as a tourist attraction. Therefore, it aims to develop lapindo mud as a tourist attraction in Porong district East Java by knowing its development strategy. This research was conducted in Porong district by conducting interviews to selected stakeholders using purposive sampling method. Data is gathered through deep interviews with the tourism department and local communities, then in analysis using SWOT analysis. The results of this study are: 1) potential livelihood opportunities undergo changes to the aspects of tourism. 2) aspects in the attraction of this lapindo mud tourism is very minimal because there is still not much development done by the Government of Sidoarjo and by the manager in the tourist attraction Lapindo mud. 3) The development strategy of Lapindo mud as a tourist attraction has more opportunities because the community began to feel changes in the livelihood because of the many tourists visiting the Lapindo mud, but the lack of Public facilities for tourists visiting the attraction. It can be concluded that the consequences of Lapindo mud disaster can be developed as a tourist attraction because it provides opportunities for local communities such as obtaining new livelihoods. Every tourism potential owned by Bali needs to be studied, researched and developed in order to meet the needs of the economy community. One of the tourism potential that needs to be developed in Bali is the wine tourism. Buleleng Regency is one of the largest wineries and also the house of the oldest wine factory on the island of Bali. But there are still many foreign tourists who are not aware of the existence of the wine producing region. This study aims to determine the perception of tourists about the wine products and to know the development strategy that must be done in order to support the activities of wine tourism in Buleleng Regency. The results of this study showing that the tourists perception regarding Bali wine product shows that they feel the quality of the products is good and also shows their interest to do wine tourism in Buleleng Regency. Based on the results of SWOT analysis, there are several strategies that can be applied to develop the wine tourism such as increasing the promotion of tourism in Bali to be better known by foreign tourists, government working together with the wine-producing companies to jointly develop wine tourism activities in Buleleng, and the last by expanding the area of wineries in the district of Buleleng so there is an image or existence of wine tourism in Buleleng. In connection with the results and discussion in this study, the suggestion that is expected to be done by the government is to work with companies that produce wine in improving the quality of products and services, and pay attention to periodicity and innovation on a regular basis.

The purpose of this research is to study the prospect, problem fared and formulate the developing strategy of raising the chicken laugh at Kendari. The results of this study are expected to be useful as a reference basis for government and practitioners in developing chicken laugh at Kendari and as a reference for further research. The study was conducted in October - November 2012 held at Kendari. Determination of sub-sample study conducted by purposive sampling based on the amount of chicken population Ketawa most, the samples used were each 10 Baruga farmers in the district, sub-district and district Poasia Kadia. Methods of data collection that is through interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis was performed based on a percentage of the value and use SWOT analysis then reviewed descriptively. Prospects for business development in the chicken laugh Kendari supported by the high price of chicken laugh, the majority of farmers belong to the productive age and height HR breeders. The problem faced by the chicken business is a sideline laughing, limited capital breeder, the lack of a stable market and a lack of knowledge and skills in disease control. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis of the development strategy of the management training needs of business in the form of training and directing his efforts into marketoriented core business, utilizing every event as a marketing contest chicken laughing and following exhibitions farms, businesses need to expand the scale poultry laughing, maximizing roles and functions ASPAK for scheduled contests, and disease control training, need guidance from the government in the form of skills training maximal disease controlKeywords: outlook, strategy, development, chicken laugh, City KendariABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji prospek usaha budidaya ayam ketawa di Kota Kendari.. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober – November 2012 bertempat di Kecamatan Baruga, Kecamatan Kadia dan Kecamatan Poasia Kota Kendari. Penentuan kecamatan sampel penelitian dilakukan secara purposive sampling berdasarkan jumlah populasi ayam Ketawa terbanyak. Jumlah responden di masing-masing Kecamatan lokasi penelitian sebanyak 10 orang peternak, sehingga seluruhnya berjumlah 30 orang responden. Metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data berdasarkan nilai presentase dan menggunakan analisis SWOT kemudian diulas secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa prospek pengembangan usaha ayam ketawa di Kota Kendari didukung oleh tingginya harga ayam ketawa, mayoritas peternak tergolong usia produktif dan tingginya SDM peternak. Permasalahan yang dihadapi yakni usaha ayam ketawa bersifat sambilan, modal usaha peternak terbatas, belum adanya pasar yang stabil dan kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam pengendalian penyakit. Berdasarkan analisis SWOT maka strategi pengembangannya yakni perlu pembinaan manajemen usaha dalam bentuk pelatihan dan mengarahkan usahanya menjadi usaha pokok yang berorientasi pasar, meningkatkan skala usaha ternak, memaksimalkan peran dan fungsi ASPAK untuk menyelenggarakan kontes ayam ketawa serta pameran-pameran peternakan, perlu adanya pembinaan pengendalian penyakitKata Kunci : Prospek, strategi, pengembangan, ayam ketawa, Kota Kendari

This study aimed to analyze the development strategy of business and goat milk processing in the Goatzilla Farm, Lumajang, East Java. This research was descriptive. Methods of data by surveys using questionnaires. Data were analyzed by SWOT matrix to find out opportunities and threats in Goatzilla Farm. The results of the study used SWOT analysis. Alternative strategies recommendated in the Goatzilla Farm were SO strategies (Strength Opportunities), namely comparative strategy primacy, efficiency and internal development, and information technology to improve product quality. The results of the study showed to need cooperation with the government, farmers, and distribution networks to provide raw materials and increased product sales. The threat of Goatzilla Farm needed to watch out for was licensing which was processed immediately to support a bargaining position. There was no sufficient licensing, it could threat the sustainability of the business.

Tourism sectors can be develop as a source of local income, it is expected to support economic development. The tourism development can be acquired from every tourist attraction revenue. This study aims to describe the condition of Kartini Beach Recreation Park in Rembang Regency; Identify the internal and external factors to develop Kartini Beach Recreation Park in Rembang Regency; and Explain the development strategy in developing Kartini Beach Recreation Park in Rembang Regency. This research uses qualitative descriptive method and SWOT analysis. The result of SWOT analysis in Matrix Grand Strategy indicates that Kartini Beach Recreation Park in Rembang Regency supporting diversification strategy. Diversification in Kartini Beach Recreation Park can be carried out with renewal of the rides that do not exist yet, augment some events, souvenir shops and food stalls typically from Rembang accompanied by an increasing in promotions advertised in television and through social media.

Tempat Pelelangan Ikan (TPI) Branta sama dengan pasar tradisional yaitu sebagai tempat yang kumuh, kotor dan bau. Padahal kegiatan membeli ikan segar merupakan kegiatan menarik yang bisa dijadikan sebagai wisata untuk melihat beberapa jenis ikan. Oleh karena itu, dengan pengembangan konsep yang lebih menarik menjadikan TPI Branta Pesisir sebagai wisata bahari ikan segar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengkaji kelayakan TPI Branta sebagai pasar ikan wisata bahari di Pamekasan dan untuk mengkaji strategi pengembangan tempat pelelangan ikan dari hasil uji kelayakan. Deskriptif dan SWOT digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik kuesioner kepada 30 responden dengan teknik purposive sampling dan analisis objek potensial sesuai dengan Pedoman Objek Operasional Daerah dan Analisis Objek Wisata Alam Direktur Jenderal PHKA tahun 2003 dengan kriteria Daya Tarik, Aksesibilitas, Akomodasi, dan Fasilitas. Sebagai alat untuk merancang strategi pengembangan TPI Branta menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil analisis bahwa TPI Branta layak untuk dikembangkan sebagai pasar ikan wisata bahari dengan tingkat kelayakan 70,7%. Strategi pengembangannya yaitu: (1) menambah wahana permainan keluarga, taman bunga, fotospot, fasilitas umum dilengkapi tempat tunggu yang free wifi; (2) membentuk POKDARWIS (kelompok Sadar wisata) dengan dukungan pemerintah dan masyarakat; (3) meningkatkan produk ekonomi kreatif dan memperbaiki manajemen TPI; (4) meningkatkan keamanan, keramahan, kebersihan, perbaikan jalan dan pelestarian lingkungan, dan; (5) meningkatkan promosi TPI sebagai wisata.Title: FeasibilityStudy and Development of Fish Auction Branta As A ‘Bahari’ Tourism Fish Market In PamekasanFish Auction Branta is the same as a traditional market, which is a dirty and smelly place. Though, fresh fish buying could be an interesting tour activity. Therefore, the more interesting concept of its development could promote Fish Auction Branta as a marine tourism for fresh fish. The aimed of this study was to determine the feasibility of the Branta Fish Auction Place as a marine tourism fish market in Pamekasan, and to analysed the development strategy for fish auction place based on the feasibility test. The research used descriptive and SWOT analysis. Data were collected through questionnaires towards 30 respondents with purposive sampling method and analysis of potential object in accordance with the Regional Operational Objectives Guidelines and Analysis of Nature Tourism Objects Director General of PHKA in 2003 with criteria of Attraction, Accessibility, Accommodation, and Facilities. The development strategies for developing Branta Fish Auction Place were designed based on SWOT analysis. The results showed that Branta Fish Auction Place is feasible to be developed as a marine tourism fish market with a feasibility rate of 70.7%. The development strategies are as follows: 1). Build family games, flower gardens, photospots, special public facilitiy, waiting rooms and free wifi, 2). Create tourism conscious group “POKDARWIS” to get support from the government and community, 3) Improve the economic creative products of local community and the management of Branta Fish Auction Place, 4). Improve safety, friendliness, cleanliness, road repair and environmental preservation, and 5). Improve promotion of Branta Fish Auction Place as tourism place.

Slangit is a village in Cirebon, West Java that has potentials to be used as a cultural tourist attraction. These potentials include tradition and custom ceremonies, traditional art of masks and mask performances. This article investigates the the development strategy of cultural attractions in the village of Slangit. Data collection are conducted by observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data was analysed using a descriptive qualitative method and by using SWOT analysis. The result shows that theattempt to use arts potential as tourist attraction has been fairly developed by artists group but it is far from adequate becausethe lack of coordination between artists group and the authorityresponsible to promote culture and tourism. It is suggested thatthe government to work together with communities and artists topromote the village potentials as cultural tourism attractions bothas away to preserve arts and to develop tourism as source of localeconomy.

This study aims to analyze external and internal factors in the form of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the development of Linjuang tourism objects in Lubuk Sikaping, Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra. After the analysis is carried out, a development strategy is formulated by minimizing weaknesses and threats and then maximizing the existing strengths and opportunities. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method using SWOT analysis tools (Strengths, Weaknes, Opportunities, Threats). Data collection techniques through literature study, observation and interviews with owners, communities and visitors of Linjuang tourism objects. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that the strategy for developing Linjuang tourism objects, among others, is by completing facilities and markets such as toilets, prayer rooms and parking locations as well as maintenance of tourist attraction areas, then promoting tourism objects through online and print media and involving the government, private sector and the community in management. tourist attraction. Abstract Wonorejo mangrove area is one of the mangrove ecosystems in Surabaya initiated by public awareness which then developed into an area of conservation, education, rehabilitation, and ecotourism. Terbatasnya ekowisata menjadikan kawasan mangrove Wonorejo semakin ramai dikunjungi sehingga perlu strategi pengembangan yang tepat. Limited ecotourism in Surabaya makes this area to be increasingly crowded so that a proper development strategy is needed.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) potensi ekowisata mangrove Wonorejo, 2) strategi pengembangan ekowisata mangrove Wonorejo. The purpose of this research is to know: 1) The potential of Wonorejo mangrove ecotourism, and 2) The development strategy of Wonorejo mangrove ecotourism. Pendekatan dan jenis penelitian bersifat deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode survey.In this research, the approach and type are descriptive with survey method.Sumber data potensi diperoleh dari interview dengan wisatawan dan beberapa pihak yang memahami ekowisata mangrove Wonorejo. The potential data sources were obtained from visitors’ interviews and other parties who acknowledge the ecotourism of Wonorejo mangrove.Indikator yang digunakan untuk mengukur potensi adalah kondisi biofisik, aksesibilitas, sarana prasarana dan aspek penunjang lain. Moreover, the indicators used to measure the potential are biophysical conditions, accessibility, infrastructure, and other supporting aspects. Strategi untuk mengembangkan mangrove Wonorejo menggunakan analisis SWOT.The strategy that is used to develop Wonorejo mangrove is the SWOT analysis.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kawasan mangrove Wonorejo mempunyai potensi tinggi dengan total nilai 30. Analisis SWOT berada pada posisi kuadran I, artinya untuk pengembangan kawasan ekowisata mangrove Wonorejo adalah strategi agresif/pertumbuhan. The results showed that Wonorejo mangrove area has a high level of potential with a total value of 30. The SWOT analysis is in quadrant I meaning that for the development of ecotourism area, Wonorejo mangrove has an aggressive/growth strategy. Prioritas strategi dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT adalah peningkatan peran pemerintah terkait daya tarik, pengembangan paket wisata mangrove-non mangrove, peningkatan terkait identitas mangrove, penataan lokasi, peningkatan sumberdaya manusia, dan pengembangan promosi.By using SWOT analysis, the priority of this strategy is to increase the role of government related to tourism attraction, development of mangrove-non-mangrove tourism package, improvement related to mangrove identity, location arrangement, human resource improvement, and promotion development. Pemerintah diharapkan lebih bertanggung jawab dalam mengembangkan ekowisata mangrove Wonorejo dalam segala aspek sehingga dapat meminimalkan permasalahan. The government should be responsible for developing this Wonorejo mangrove ecotourism in all aspects so as to minimize the problem.

Title (Bahasa Indonesia): Pengembangan Kawasan Minapolitan di Kota Bitung, Indonesia The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries has set Bitung City as one of the locations for minapolitan program implementations based capture fisheries. Minapolitan's fisheries Bitung City is a neighborhood-based economic development fishing effort developed in an integrated manner by the government, the privatesectorand community to create a business climate forbetter for regional economic growth, job creation and community income neighborhood Bitung City. This study aimsto analyze the policy strategy for developingMinapolitan Region of the City of Bitung through SWOT analysis and determinepriorities for the development strategy of Bitung city Minapolitan Region. The research method is a survey study, data were collected through interviews and direct observation and literature. SWOT analysis is used to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Furthermore, to determine the alternative development strategy used OSPM. The study concluded that the strategies that can be used for the development Minapolitan in Bitung are as follows: 1) optimization of fisheriesproduction; 2) improve the facilities, infrastructure and transport infrastructure and fishing port; 3) by improving the quality of human resources in fishing; 4) improving the quality of fisheriesproducts to be able to compete infree market; 5) to build the collective awareness to stay remain committed and consistent in developing minapolitan; 6) industrialization of fisheries bu supportingSpecial Economic Zone (SEZ).Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan telah menetapkan Kota Bitung sebagai salah satu lokasi implementasi program minapolitan berbasis perikanan tangkap. Kawasan minapolitan perikanan tangkap di Kota Bitung adalah suatu kawasan pengembangan ekonomi berbasis usaha penangkapan ikan yang dikembangkan secara terintegrasi oleh pemerintah, swasta dan masyarakat untuk menciptakan iklim usaha yang lebih baik untuk pertumbuhan ekonomi wilayah, penciptaan lapangan kerja dan pendapatan masyarakat kawasan Kota Bitung. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis strategi kebijakan pengembangan Kawasan Minapolitan kota Bitung melalui analisis SWOTdan menetapkan prioritas strategi pengembangan Kawasan Minapolitan kota Bitung. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian survei, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi langsung dan literatur. Analisis SWOT digunakan untuk menidentifikasi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman. Selanjutnya untuk menentukan alternatif strategi pengembangan digunakan OSPM. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa strategi yang dapat digunakan untuk pengembangan minapolitan di Bitung sebagai berikut: 1) optimalisasi produksi perikanan; 2) meningkatkan sarana, prasarana dan infrastruktur transportasi dan pelabuhan perikanan; 3) peningkatan kualitas SDM nelayan; 4) peningkatan kualitas produk perikanan untuk dapat berdaya saing dipasar bebas; 5) membangun kesadaran kolektif tetap komitmen dan konsisten dalam mengembangkan minapolitan; 6) industrialisasi perikanan dengan mensuport KEK.


This study aims to determine the form of community participation in the management of Pura Puseh and Pura Desa in Batuan village as one of the tourist attraction in Gianyar regency. Qualitative approach is used in describing the forms of community participation in the management of Pura Puseh dan Pura Desa in Batuan Village. The data in this study were collected by observation, interview with predetermined informants by using purposive sampling techniques, and documentation studies. The result showed that the form of participation of local communities in Batuan village in managing the Pura Puseh and Pura Temple in Batuan village as one of the tourist attraction in Gianyar regency is in the partnership category. In this category, the opinions, ideas, and suggestions from the community to develop, maintain and manage the tourits attraction are listened by the government and begin to be realized in their program. The community in Batuan village play an active role in the management of Pura Puseh and Pura Desa in Batuan village as one of the tourist attraction in Gianyar regency.
