<p>This study aimed to analyze the knowledge, attitude, and purchase intention on electronic money among undergraduate students approached by the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). The study involved 100 undergraduate students of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) which were selected randomly. The design of the study was  cross sectional study with simple random sampling method. The results showed that attitude and intention to use was the high category, while the greatest proportion of subjective norm and behavioral control were at the middle category. Meanwhile, according to the model of Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), attitude, subjective norm, and behavioral control had positive correlations with intention to use e-money. Attitude and subjective norm affected intention to use e-money.</p>

A large number of muslim population in Indonesia have an impact on the development of muslim fashion in Indonesia and led to the emergence of muslim communities such as Hijabers Surabaya community. Hijabers Surabaya community also linked himself with sharia, such as cooperation with the islamic banking in which all community members will get free sharia account when joining the community.This research focuses on the behavior and attitude of community members towards the use of sharia account by using the theory of planned behavior perspective. This study used Structural Equation Model. Total participants in this study amounted to 150 members. The results obtained in this study is: (1) Behavior belief affect the attitude toward behavior. (2) Normative belief not effect the subjective norm. (3) Motivation to comply not effect the subjective norm. (4) Control belief affect the perceived behavioral control. (5) Attitude toward behavior affect the intention to use. (6) Subjective norm not affect the intention to use. (7) Perceived behavioral control not affect to the intention to use.

Abstract Background: Globally, liver cancer is one of the most malignant tumors and has become a great concern to public health. The serious context of liver cancer prevention and control urges researchers to find more evidence about liver cancer screening and to expand its use. The purpose of this study was to determine the predictors associated with physicians’ intention to use liver cancer screening. Methods: We took contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) as an example, and developed the research framework by adding socials norms to the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). Data was collected via a cross-sectional questionnaire survey on a sample of 292 physicians randomly selected from Fujian and Jiangxi provinces in China with a high and low incidence of liver cancer, respectively. Due to the multicollinearity problem of the data, ridge regression was applied to determine the influencing factors of physicians’ intention to use CEUS. Results: Most of the participants (87.30%) reported that they were willing to use liver cancer screening in their clinical practice. The scores of TPB variables were generally higher than those of social norms variables. Regression results indicated that the proposed model was explanatory, which has accounted for 72.6% of the total variance in physicians’ intention. Analyses also illustrated the significant role of TPB variables (attitude and perceived behavioral control) and social norms variables (personal norms, organizational norms, and industrial norms) on the physicians’ intention to use CEUS. Conclusions: The study extended the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) by including the concepts of social norms, which is not only conducive to expanding the knowledge of factors associated with physicians’ intention to use liver cancer screening, but also provide implications for developing strategies to promote the use of certain health services or products, such as playing the roles of core members, holding the panel meeting, and establishing an information push system.

Introduction: Pain in the neonate may result in negative behavior, physiology and metabolic responses. This study aims to analyze the behavior of nurses in the implementation of non-pharmacological pain management in neonates who performed minor invasive action with the approach of Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB).Methods: This research was a descriptive study of analysis with research design cross sectional. The population of this study were nurses working in the neonatal ward and neonatal intensive care unit dr. Soetomo general Hospital Surabaya. Total sample of 55 respondents selected using simple random sampling. The independent variable was the background factor of age, education, knowledge, attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavior control (PBC) and intention. Dependent variable was nurse’s attitude. The data were obtained using questionnaires then analyzed using logistic regression with a degree of significance of 0.05.Results: Background factor age (p = 0.02) and knowledge (p = 0.004) correlated with attitude, education (p = 0.023) correlated with subjective norm, knowledge (p = 0.004) related to PBC, attitude (p = 0.010) and subjective norm (p = 0.006) relate to intention, and intention is related to behavior (p = 0.024).Conclusion: This study concludes that the management of behavior to be more directed to the factors that relate in shaping the behavior of knowledge, attitude, education, subjective norms, and intention.

Introduction: Education is the important component in self-management of Diabetes mellitus patients. Nurse as one of the health care provider should take active role in giving adequate education. The aim of this study were to analyze factors influencing nurse’s behavior in implementation of Diabetes mellitus education based on theory of planned behavior. Method: This study used cross sectional design. Population in this study were all nurses in medicinal public hall whose were assigned to give education toward patients in 62 puskesmas induk in Surabaya city in 2016. Sampling technique used total sampling and 112 nurses obtained as samples. Variables in this study consist of attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control (PBC), intention and practice in DM education. Data collection was using questionnaire and observation sheet and also analyzed using spearman rho with α 0,05. Result: Statistical analysis result shows there is significant relationship between attitudes, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control (PBC) toward intention with p value of 0,022; 0,048; dan 0,000 respectively and there is no significant relationship between intention and practice of Diabetes mellitus education with p value 0,194. Nurse’s attitudes, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control (PBC) had positive effect toward intention of Diabetes mellitus education but intention had no effect toward practice of Diabetes mellitus education in puskesmas. Conclusion: Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) stated that individual behavior occurred because of intention that could be affected by attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control (PBC). Future study was expected to use qualitative approach, and related study regarding development of education media in Puskesmas.

Social commerce (s-commerce) is linked to social shopping, social sharing, and described as focusing on sharing information with affiliate shoppers. Due to the increased popularity of private and public social networking websites, this empirical study extends Ajzen’s (1991) theory of planned behavior (TPB) to explain and predict purchase intention after interacting with an s-commerce website. Results indicate significant support for the theoretical paradigm from an s-commerce perspective. No significant effects emerged from the multiple linear regression conducted to determine whether the current study’s theoretical paradigm confirmed to the applicability of the theory of planned behavior. Using a path model as outlined by Ajzen (2004), the path analysis produced good support for the model in which purchase intention had a positive relationship with attitudes, subjective norm, and perceived control behavior. Analysis of attitudes, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, and intentions revealed subjective norm had the greatest influence on purchase intention. Implications for theoretical and practical analysis are presented, along with recommendations for future research.

<pre><span>There are many factors that influence consumer intention to use electronic money. Based on the theory of planned behavior, behavior intention is formed by the attitude toward behavior, subjective norms and perceived behavioral control. This research aims to a<span>nalyze attitude, subjective norms and perceived behavioral control that affect consumer intention in the usage of electronic money</span>.<span>Data collection from respondents through a structured questionnaire by self-report. Some questions in the questionnaire were made on a Likert scale with five variations of the answers in very strongly disagreeable order to strongly agree. The respondents are 290 undergraduate students that have never used server-based electronic money. </span>The result showed that the attitude toward behavior did not a significantly affect the behavior intention. While the subjective norms and perceived behavioral control have a significant effect on the behavior intention <span>in the usage of electronic money.</span></span></pre>

Abstract. Background: Suicide among college students is an issue of serious concern. College peers may effectively intervene with at-risk persons due to their regular contact and close personal relationships with others in this population of significantly enhanced risk. Aims: The current study was designed to investigate whether the theory of planned behavior constructs predicted intention to intervene when a college peer is suicidal. Method: Undergraduate students (n = 367) completed an on-line questionnaire; they answered questions about their attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control regarding suicide and suicide intervention, as well as their intention to intervene when someone is suicidal. The data were analyzed using multiple regression. Results: The statistical significance of this cross-sectional study indicates that the theory of planned behavior constructs predicts self-reported intention to intervene with a suicidal individual. Conclusion: Theory of planned behavior is an effective framework for understanding peers’ intention to intervene with a suicidal individual.

This research is aimed to test an empirical study on UNSOED Press. The study took the title: "The Analysis of Intention to Buy: An Extended Theory of Planned Behavior". The purpose of this research is to know and find empirical evidence of the influence of Brand Awareness, Price, Attitude, Subjective Norm, Perceived Behavioral Control of Purchase Intention. The population in this study were students in Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. The samples in this study were 211 person. Sample determination using the Convenience sampling method. The analysis tool used is multiple regression. Based on the results of the research and analysis of data shows that:(1) Brand Awareness has no effect on Purchase Intention. (2) Price has a positive effect on Purchase Intention. (3) Attitude has a positive effect on Purchase Intention. 4 Subjective Norm has no effect on Purchase Intention. 5 Perceived Behavioral control has a positive effect on Purchase Intention. The implication of the conclusion above is, UNSOED Press has to build awareness among students or target market. Promotion from faculty and lecturers must be improved. Lecturers can provide suggestions for using UNSOED Press during classroom learning. For the price, respondent said the price was not too expensive and have to maintance quality.

Using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), the purpose of this research is to examine the influence of attitude towards behavior, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control on student entrepreneurship intention. Employing a convenience sampling, a survey has been conducted towards 177 undergraduate students. The outcomes of the study demonstrate that all factors significantly influence entrepreneurship intention. Our findings also show that perceived behavioral control appeared as the strongest predictor of students’ entrepreneurship intention. These findings contribute to broadening the scope of academic literature especially within entrepreneurship studies, particularly from Malaysia's perspective. The practical implications and future recommendations also have been discussed.
