The genus Gymnocheta Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 (Diptera, Tachinidae) has until now been represented by two species in Europe, G. viridis (Fallén, 1810) and G. magna Zimin, 1958. Two species are newly recorded from Finland and Sweden, Gymnocheta lucida Zimin, 1958 and G. zhelochovtsevi Zimin, 1958, both previously known only from the Russian Far East and Japan. These four European species are redescribed and illustrated, including the first description of the female of G. zhelochovtsevi. A key is provided to seven of the eight described species of Palaearctic Gymnocheta. The holotype of G. viridis was examined and found to differ from the present concept of the species, instead matching the concept of the more recently described G. magna. In the interests of nomenclatural stability, the two names are maintained in their current usage pending a request to the International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature to replace the current holotype of G. viridis with a neotype that corresponds to the long-established concept of that species.

Quality is an increasingly present concept nowadays, so meeting the customers’ needs, who buy and use products and hire services, becomes essential. For laboratories, the concept is applied to the reliability and traceability of the results produced and presents itself not only to meet the customer’s needs, but also to allow the signing of agreements in the international trade. The concept of Quality in a laboratory can be carried out from the elaboration of a Quality Management System (QMS). To this end, the normative document ISO/IEC 17025, internationally accepted, has been changing over the years aimed at instructing the elaboration of a management system which proves the technical capacity of testing and calibration laboratories and guides the generation of reliable results. The document is in its third version as a standard, the most current one published in 2017, and it presents requirements to achieve the proposed objective and the quality assurance. In the face of the importance of these concepts and the unquestionable need of laboratories to provide reliable and traceable results, this article presents the norm history and its most recent changes. Its intent is support laboratories whose objective is to implement a QMS according to this normative reference

The authors have formerly published the analytical model and finite element validation of a push-pull actuator made by winding a thin shape memory wire on a solid rubber cylinder. The cylinder provides elastic backup for the wire upon cooling down and transforms its circumferential contraction into a magnified axial elongation upon heating up. Building on that study, this paper accomplishes three tasks: (1) build prototype actuators and perform simple tests to validate the theory; (2) develop simple procedures for the optimal design of the actuator starting from high-level engineering specifications; (3) envision how the present concept could be improved by replacing the rubber block with a compliant lattice-like or shell-like scaffold with designed properties to further enhance the axial stroke.

Understanding mathematical concepts is the ablitiy of students to accept material in the form of mathematical concepts and then can restate the concept, can use, utilize, an choose certain procedurs or operations in determaining a concept, and apply the concept in solving mathematical problems. Trigonometry is one of the subjects in mathematics that students’ understanding of concepts is still low. The process of understanding mathematical concepts can be seen from the learning styles that each student has. Grasha Riechman's learning style is the tendency of students to think and interact with each other in various learning environments and various experiences in the process of gaining new knowledge.  The purpose of this study is to describe the profile of students’ understanding of mathematical concepts in trigonometry based on Grasha-Riechman’s learning style. Grasha-Reichman learning style consist of independent, dependent, collaborative, competitive, contributive/participant, and avoidant. This study uses qualitative approach and this type of this study in descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used in this study were written test and interviews. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions.. The subject of this study were each one student from the existing Grasha Riechmann’s learning style type.  The results show that Students who have a dependent and competitive learning style have ability to restate a concept, present concept in various mathematical representations, use or choose certain procedures in determining a concept, and apply concepts in completing mathematical problems. Students who have independent and collaborative learning style have the ability to restate a concept, present concepts in various mathematical representations, and use or choose certain procedures in determining a concept, but the have not been able to apply the concept to solving mathematical problems. Student who have avoidant learning style have the ability to present concept in various mathematical representations and use or choose procedures in determining a concept, but this student have not been able to restate a concept and apply the concept to solving mathematical problems. Student who have participant learning style only have the ability to present concepts in various mathematical representations, this student have not been able to restate a concept, use or choose procedures in determining a concepts, and apply the concept in solving mathematical problems. Keywords: Understanding mathematical concept, Trigonometry, Grasha Riechman's learning style

Representatives of all genera and subgenera of Haliplidae are examined regarding the shape of the air storage under the metacoxal plates. Three different main types can be distinguished with strong variation in the species of Haliplus. In general the results support the present concept of genera and subgenera, but a few exceptions are found. The subgenus Phalilus is raised to genus level. The genera Algophilus Zimmermann and Apteraliplus Chandler are reduced to subgenera of Haliplus Latreille. The synonymised genus Haliaplus Ádám is re-installed as a subgenus of Haliplus. Three new subgenera are introduced: Australiplus, Borealiplus and Nipponiplus. A cladistic analysis is carried out using 27 characters including those of the metacoxal air-storage space. A cladogram to subgenus level is presented.

Phylogenetic relationships of the subgroups of Parathalassiinae are presented, based on a morphological cladistic analysis. Worldwide, all known extant genera, species groups and newly discovered undescribed lineages are represented in the analysis. Some previously proposed generic relationships are supported by the analysis, but recognition of many current genera renders the present concept of Microphorella Becker as both paraphyletic and polyphyletic. Microphorella merzi Gatt is here classified in Eothalassius Shamshev & Grootaert, as Eothalassius merzi (Gatt) comb. nov. A preliminary classification with all included extant lineages within the Parathalassiinae (at the genus and species group level) is outlined. The ranking of these lineages is discussed and several species groups of Microphorella may need to be elevated to generic or subgeneric level, whereas some currently recognized genera may need to be relegated to subgenera.

LANGUAGE AND IDENTITY: THE STATEMENT OF IDENTITY THROUGH LEXIC CHOICES IN JOURNALISTIC TEXTSAbstract: The present article aims to analyze the ideological identity delimited by lexical choices in journalistic discourses. In order to collect elements of the object of study, we choose pairs of texts published in different media that deal with the same subject, but come from ideologically distinct sources. By analyzing the lexical choices, we intend to identify an attempt by the authors to construct or reinforce their ideological identity. The main reference is made in the present concept in SILVA, 2000, p. 106, namely: identity is "built from the recognition of some common origin or characteristics that are shared with other groups or people, or even from the same ideal."Keywords: identity; ideology; lexical choices; discourse. LENGUA E IDENTIDAD: LA AFIRMACIÓN DE LA IDENTIDAD A TRAVÉS DE LAS ELECCIONES LEXICALES EN TEXTOS PERIODÍSTICOSResumen: Este artículo pretende analizar la identidad ideológica delimitada por elecciones léxicas en los discursos periodísticos.
