The ways in which organizations manage crises can find significant analogies in the musician's process of improvisation, involving a continuous leader-follower interaction that displays the typical traits of servant leaders fueled by spirituality. The analogy with musical improvisation is the thread that runs through this chapter, which analyzes servant leadership in organizational orchestration with reference to current issues such as distributed work. The conditions that can enable the development of servant organizations are identified, modeling the different contextual dimensions with reference to organizational performance, also with respect to other leadership styles. These enabling factors are also declined with respect to agile management practices and the convergence between spiritual leadership and servant leadership. New research directions are identified: this transformative historical moment offers a unique opportunity to develop in-depth causal inferences about how servant leadership creates ethical and organizational value.

Spiritual leadership in the education field is not something new. However, it has not been deeply examined. The studies on spiritual leadership are more easily found in the non-educational than in educational fields (Scott & Tweed, 2016). For that reason, drawing on spiritual leadership and Dominican spirituality, the researcher examined how Dominican Schools in Indonesia integrate Dominican spirituality and leadership in their teaching performances. A leadership styles (Lewin’s leadership styles) questionnaire and collaborative leadership survey through Google form was conducted to collect data from 114 high school teachers of six Dominican Schools in Indonesia. The study results were a) Dominican spirituality provides unity of leadership styles among the high school teachers at Dominical Schools, b) leadership styles adopted by teachers are in line with Dominican spirituality leadership. Therefore, a positive correlation between Dominican spirituality and educational leadership was rooted in the values and vision of Dominican Educational Institution and became an educational leadership identity among high school teachers. The researcher suggests that curriculum designers and education facilitators collaborate to include and practice Dominican spiritual leadership as one of the principles and visions in Dominican educational institutions. It can also be used to describe other institutions with similar charisms. This study also advises that future researchers perform a poll on "Dominican Spiritual Leadership" using quantitative research methodologies. It is necessary to investigate the relationship between Dominican spiritual leadership and other educational characteristics in-depth. Educational levels, teaching experience, gender, community culture, and other factors may influence stakeholders in Dominican schools and other educational institutions worldwide.

In 1947, a group of fishermen from the coastal area of Ìlàjẹ, Ondo State, Nigeria who were members of the Aládúrà, an independent Church movement in southwest of Nigeria, came together to establish a theocratic settlement, which they named Ayétòrò. A few years after, other theocratic settlements emerged in quick succession and by 1980 there were more than fifty such villages along the Ìlàjẹ coastline. The pertinent question is why this form of community organization is pervasive among the Ìlàjẹ. The main argument of this article, following ethnographic data collected from four theocratic settlements, which are regarded as the core village theocracies, is that a flexible land tenure regime and a loose traditional political system, among other factors of environmentand kinship structure, ensured easy access to land and served to authenticate the spiritual leadership claims of founders of theocratic settlements. The conclusion reflects on the future of theocratic settlements against the background of increasing modernization along the Ìlàjẹ coastline.

the article points out that the scientific problem of training leaders in higher education institutions is aimed at developing new theoretical, methodological and practical principles that reflect the basic patterns of formation of leadership potential of future professionals. It is stated that the use of leadership potential and the implementation of leadership, which will significantly improve the effectiveness of solving difficult situations, will encourage effective interaction of all its participants. The focus is on the fact that the education system in the process of targeted leadership training should pay attention not only to the formation of the necessary set of knowledge and skills, but also to the development of future leaders' ability to influence people and inspire them to dream, learn and work more. The need to further study the phenomenon of spiritual leadership in modern science to improve the training of future professionals in institutions of higher education.

The literature over the last three decades has been trying to account for the stories of resilience by Cambodians both in their homeland and diasporas through performance and literature, visual culture, and religion to undo the legacy of displacement and traumatic experience of the Cambodians during 1975–1979, known as the Khmer Rouge Genocidal period. The repatriation of Khmer refugees to their homeland during 1992–1993 poses a question of to what extent the physical return could replenish the richness of people’s lives deprived by war-time atrocities. Dhammayietra (peace march; 1992–2018) originated by and centered around the spiritual leadership of late Maha Ghosananda has, being an exemplar, tackled this challenge. Yet, are there any significant moral contributions and ethical leadership from other sources? This paper therefore seeks to highlight the under-recognized stories of ‘Dhammacārinī’ (Buddhist Woman Leader) of Cambodia in the light of the spirituality that emerged in the post-conflict reconstruction. Based on my ethnographic accounts and engagement with Dhammayietra (2009–2018), archival research and biographical and dharma books published by the two dhammacārinīs of Cambodia, I argue that these Buddhist woman leaders attempt to offer the people of Cambodia ‘rematriation’, where the ethics of care, nurture, interconnectedness and healing join forces to counter the legacy of devastation and desperation.
