E-commerce is a sales system that developed after the invention of the internet. This kind of marketing or sales system can reach the whole world simultaneously without having to set up branch offices in all countries. In addition, it can also be done 24 hours without stopping. With only a computer unit connected to the internet, the company can market its products. Marketing with promotional strategies through the internet, especially with social media (social networks), can increase sales widely and does not require expensive marketing costs. Consumers will also find it easier to find information about the products they want to buy because they do not need to meet face to face directly. Word of mouth marketing often has a competitive advantage in conveying business information. This is because word-of-mouth marketing arises naturally from the opinion of the social environment, which is considered more honest, and there are no specific motives in conveying information to other consumers.

Abstract Introduction The NHS’ move towards increasing digitisation is limited by inadequate resourcing. It is estimated 70% of a junior doctor’s time is spent completing computer-based administrative work. Aging and insufficient equipment leads to inefficiency. The objective of this study is to investigate the hidden cost of insufficient and poorly performing computer technology. Method Surveys were disseminated to doctors and data was collected regarding designation, ward, salary and estimated ‘minutes-waiting’ for computers to become free (CF) and to load (CL). Results 33 surveys were completed. The hospital-wide average CF and CL were 25 minutes and 31.06 minutes respectively, with a corresponding average daily cost per doctor of £10.16 (CF) and £12.63 (CL), totalling £22.79/doctor/day. In the highest-expense ward, CF (31.66 minutes) and CL (38.33 minutes) equated to £30.28/doctor/day. Following acquisition of new hardware and re-audit, CL was significantly reduced to 20.4 minutes (p = 0.0142). Conclusions This study highlights the hidden cost of insufficient, poorly performing hardware. Every day the total cost of time-wasted greatly surpasses the cost of a single computer unit, illustrating the false economy of reduced capital investment in computer technology.

A number of critical questions remain unanswered in Health-care organizations, which are key to tactical planning, remaining competitive, among other issues that seek for answers from the information technologies spheres. Numerous establishments are evolving to fuse clinical computer unit, which dispense a solitary point of entry for permission to administrative, patient-related and research information. The medical record in a new embodiment lies at the center of developing clinical computer unit: accessible, protected, confidential, acceptable to patients and clinicians; fused with other, non-patient information that are specific. This study presented a review of Electronic Medical Record (EMR), security concerns and security frameworks proposed to improve the security concerns of EMRs. This study was able to provide an insight into the security concerns of EMRs, as well as, the barriers in use and adoption of EMR by health institutions which will bring about improved health services, especially in developing countries where manual record system are still prominent.

Services to customers that have not been optimal with the implementation of the note-taking model, recording and making reports to the leadership that are still often a complaint for officers is the forerunner to this research. To overcome the problem that was complained about, then carried out steps that could help facilitate the service in the garbage bank. The solution offered is with the Client Server Design of Sukorejo Refuse Bank Application, so that services to customers can be done effectively and efficiently and can report quickly enough. With the service model that has been assisted by the application of the refuse bank, it is expected that it can also help improve the performance of officers. So that the process of designing this system is more directed, then the system development model is used with the waterfall method. The use of this method is chosen based on the consideration of the scope of application that only interacts within the internal Sukorejo refuse bank itself, therefore it is chosen because the scope of the application is still small scale. This system will be built with the Client Server by considering that one computer unit is reserved for the server and the other can be used as a workstation or client. This application will be created using Visual Basic 2010 and the MySQL database. With this system, it can reduce the problems in the refuse bank, so that the garbage bank can provide better service.

This paper involves the design and implementation of cell phone detection mobile robot. This is applicable in examination halls, private conferences and meeting rooms in which the using of cell phones is highly restricted. The robot is able to detect the presence of unauthorized communications by active phones and then distort them. The detection process is achieved by implementing an electrical circuit for sensing undesirable signals and using NodeMCU for interfacing the robot with a main computer unit. The main computer unit is used as a controlling platform in terms of mobile robot navigation as well as detection and jamming activating. This is accomplished by creating a graphical control panel programmed using a special HTML script. In this work, the cell phone detection mobile robot has been applied in an examination hall to simulate real educational environment. The robot has detected active calls by cell phones with a circle diameter of 1.2 meter and then jammed them directly. The whole area has been covered for detection and jamming by roaming the robot wirelessly via the remote main computer. Different voltage measurements for different detection distances have been recorded.

In this work, we have investigated the exchange interaction of two electrons in double lateral quantum dot (which is the base of quantum gate) under effect of external magnetic field, electric field and inter dot distance between double dots. From similarity between double quantum dots and molecule, we have used molecular physics approaches (Hitler – London and Hund – Mullikan approximation method) to investigate our system. We also show the magnetization behavior as function of magnetic field.

t firstly set up energy converting control model of high building rescue apparatus (HBRA), and developed a controller of the HBRA by using AVR micro computer unit (MCU), designed the control circuits for electric energy converting to thermal energy, then developed program to generate the PWM control wave. At last, it tested the PWM output wave of the controller, and experimented on the HBRA with the controller on loads of 15kg and 25kg. The results proves the controller can automatic adjust the duty ratio of PWM wave according to the different loads, which can keep the slow-down velocity constant of the loads and help people rescue from high buildings in emergency such as on fire.
